It’s 97 today and my friends are coming out of the woodwork-actually their holes in the ground. We love our little critters and they’re not dangerous unless you’re an insect or scorpion and they eat you. Here, in New River, we don’t have any stop lights, city water or sewer. We do have our own species of tarantula, the New River Rust Rump. He saved one that was swimming in the pool yesterday and then He found one in the garage which is not a good thing since the bugman just made his visit on Thursday and we were worried about the tarantula. You can see why it is called a “Rust Rump”.
He took it across the driveway and let it go into the vacant yard where there’s no poison
Go, Spidey, Go!
We like spiders here. They eat flies and mosquitoes! You’re spider looks very interesting. We have lots of poisonous ones, but they don’t bother us and as long as they stay outside, we don’t bother them.
XXXOOO daisy, Bella & Roxy
Stay cool, friend.
I don’t like spiders and snakes And that ain’t what it takes to make me love you. WOO Hoo.
Sweet William The Scot
We have little tiny spiders and my Peeps like them because they eat bugs. I’ve never seen the big ones though!
Rooooo!
Douglas
He looks mean.
OH my! *shiver* I can accept that spiders are an integral part of the food chain, but do they have to appear so threatening?
OH. MY. DOG! If we had spiders that big over here, She’d NEVER take us out. You could put a saddle on that and ride it in a Rodeo!
