They had to go out this afternoon. I stayed with Kenzie and it wouldn’t have made much difference if They were home. Kenzie was lethargic and sleepy. Look at the photo-Kenzie is too skinny. He weighed 6.7 kgs or less than 15 pounds at the vet yesterday. They went shopping and bought new dog food in the hopes that Kenzie would find something he really liked besides the heartworm pill-which is the last thing he should pig out on. When They were shopping the vet called with the results and it’s not good. Kenzie’s liver is stressed and isn’t functioning well at all. He goes for more tests Thursday which are liver specific. I guess the tests would have been tomorrow but it is a holiday but knowing the vet, if it were life threatening in a matter of hours, he would have gone in on the fourth of July. The vet mentioned that it could even be the big “C” word of the liver. Paws are crossed here. You’ll get the latest right here. It helps him to know dogs all over the world are pulling for him. He will be 9 and a half on July 23rd-way too young for this sort of stuff. I know because I’ll be ten on the 26th. With Gus of Sparhawk on the fritz at 13, it looks like I could the eldest Scottie in Blogville. I hope it’s not true that bad things come in threes.
