Bark in the Park redux

For reference, please see my May 28th post. The Diamondbacks are having another Bark-in-the-Park on Sunday August 26th. I was so excited because I’d get to go. Then He told me that He was assigned that game and had to work and I couldn’t go. I was upset. He told me that He’d get me pictures of the terriers that were there. Since there aren’t many Scotties in Arizona, the prospect of having one there is not good. For all you terriers and other friends in Arizona who are planning on attending, email me at kyle.a.scott at gmail dot com. If your peep is like mine and says you can’t go but the peep is going, email me anyway so He’s on the lookout for you. You’ll be able to recognize Him because He’s the goofiest looking one there He’s the one with the Scottie shirt on. He’ll be in the outside staging area before they let the dogs in the park and he might stop down at the doggy section depending on how work is going. He’s going to take pictures and tell me about the experience. I’ll tell all of you right here and not just what He wants me to say-I’ll tell you the parts He leaves out but I can read between the lines.

Some of you wondered about my email address. He originally wanted a “throw away” email address and this came to Him. He wanted to use it for things like those infernal super market cards that you have to have to get the discounts and the super market chain wants an email address so they can market you. Not only that, the market tracks your purchases and uses the information for many purposes. He didn’t want anybody tracking how many jalapeño pizzas He ate so He used my name. Thinking some clerk would find it funny if He used Kyla (think about a boy named Sue), He modified it. This was before Kenzie joined us, otherwise He would have used Ken.Z.West.

I hope y’all come August 26! If you can’t, you can read about it here.

Kenzie update – Kenzie is acting well, just refusing to eat well. It’s a struggle to get meds down him-the little stinker can smell a med a mile away.

  1. If we could get an airline ticket we would be there for you, just smack Kenzie in the back of the head for not taking his meds.

  2. Tell Kenzie meds can go in another way he better start taking them the easy way. Don’t think we’ll make the game. I think you have a case of identity theft with him you better call the PoPo.

  3. Poor little Kenzie, I wish there was a way to make him feel better…

  4. Kenzie don’t you know you need food and pills? Oh poor boy and your poor peeps… And poor Kyla… 😦 I agree with Sweet William – She could put them in you in an unpleasant way so just eat them, ok.

Kyla you are a funny little gal and make me laugh! I’m sorry you missed the game. We were just in that area last month and it is VERY hot so who needs to be out in that heat anyway, right?

  5. I didn’t even know you were there, but next time I will. My brother goes to a convention there every June.

  6. You are MISSING out AGAIN!!!??? Unfair. We hope your dad meets lots of bloggers.

    Paws crossed for Kenzie.

  7. Kenzie, take those darn meds!! Mama shoved mine in between slices of carrot to make a “pillwich” and that made them go down a little easier.
Aw, Kyla, can’t believe you have to miss another one. Your human needs to work in another department with the D-backs so he doesn’t have to work these events. Honestly, mama would melt when the SF Giants has Dog Days of Summer in August, so we don’t think we’ll ever make it to one! Plus, this means she has to sit in the bleachers and she just can’t enjoy the game in that spot. Just ask dad. *sigh*
    Happy Monday!

    • The Bark in the Park seats are NOT in the bleachers, but down the right field line. No melting here-the roof will be closed. He doesn’t work FOR the Diamondbacks but he does know some people who write for the Chronicle and the Giants. He likes to see them when the Giants hit town.

      • Oh that is fab, not having to sit in the bleachers with the sun in your eyes! Oh I see, so is HE a Dbacks or Giant’s fan?
PS: Do let us know if your human brings you and Kenzie to San Francisco. THAT would be a treat. 🙂
