Kenzie was on the improve bit by bit. Last night he took a serious and irreversible turn for the worse. He went to the vet’s this morning and the vet still had hope. He improved until 2 in the afternoon and then took a worse turn. The vet said he wouldn’t recover and his life would be miserable. We helped him cross the bridge this evening at 5:45 just as the sun was symbolically setting. I won’t be posting or leaving comments for a little while.
He was unique. He certainly did everything his way.

I’m so sorry. We do our best for our little pals so they don’t suffer and it is so painful to say goodbye. All you can do is know that you did what was right for Kenzie and never forget what a special friend he was.
We are so sad about Kenzie. He was such a brave dog. It’s so darned hard to say goodbye and to lose a friend.
