Kaci here. Kyla is getting a b-word in the sink right now so she’s not here and They are doing it. They have friends coming over tomorrow for dinner. Kyla didn’t sign off the computer so I can do what I want. This will be my first Thanksgiving in my life. Last night They told me a story and I think you should know. They had a Westie mix who was found wandering on a freeway just south of San Francisco. One Thanksgiving, They had a group over for dinner. The next day, They thought They were going to lose the dog-he was very morose and lifeless. They took him to the vet and They learned something. The day after Thanksgiving is very busy for vets-there are a lot of dogs in that condition. It seems everybody feeds the dog when nobody is looking and the dog gets a screwed up digestive system with all the grease that it’s not used to. “No way” said They. He said that He gave the dog only a couple of pieces. She admitted She did the same. They canvassed the peeps who were there and it turns out everybody fed the dog. It took a couple of days for the dog to recover.
Moral of the story is don’t waste your money on vet fees the day after the holiday-save it for more dog treats throughout the year!

I think it’s a random thing from Doggy. Sometime you may be surprised.
Kaci, we think it would be wise to say away from Kyla after a B%*#, she has been all over me about loving baths, so she is gonna be on the war path. You guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and since this is your first be sure to over eat!!!

Pees: thanks for the food info, however, WE WILL NOT BE PASSING IT ON TO THE PEEPS.
Yeah, They told me the story and I knew it had a point. Young as I am, I figured out the point and moral of the story.
Happy Happy Thanksgiving. Only Kyla needs a bath for guests? Maybe it will happen to you next.
Sweet William The Scot
Nope, didn’t happen. I’m a lucky girl.
Excellent advice! It’s 90 F today….so no way would we do any roasting, excepting out in the sun. We are laughin’ at Kyla having to have a bath..
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
ARRRRGH! My friends have turned on me.
Kaci you are one smart pup. I will have to warn my husband about this because he is the one with the soft heart who will overload Mr. Fox & Scruffy with food. You be sure to enjoy your first Thanksgiving. Isn’t it great to be out of jail? That’s what we call the shelter.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
I can’t write what we all call it.
How lovely to hear from you Kaci and you are looking very well with your beautiful white coat. We hope Kyla let’s you read all the responses to your post – which was very interesting and a good note for all the holidays that are coming up.
We hope you and Kyla have a lovely Thanksgiving.
Wally & Sammy
Thanks. We hope you have a wonderful day also-even if it is just another day.
Great to hear from you Kaci! Hope you get a few small bites of turkey though
Unfortunately-the guests have been TOLD not to feed us.
ahh that was the dog with the clock inside? Hope your first Thanksgiving would be great – Have a wonderful day and enjoy your turkey (piece by piece) :o)
That would be the dog with the clock. The original master mooch pooch who knew when it was food time and don’t you be a second late.
Poor Kyla, I hope she survived the bath…
