Kaci here. Kyla is getting a b-word in the sink right now so she’s not here and They are doing it. They have friends coming over tomorrow for dinner. Kyla didn’t sign off the computer so I can do what I want. This will be my first Thanksgiving in my life. Last night They told me a story and I think you should know. They had a Westie mix who was found wandering on a freeway just south of San Francisco. One Thanksgiving, They had a group over for dinner. The next day, They thought They were going to lose the dog-he was very morose and lifeless. They took him to the vet and They learned something. The day after Thanksgiving is very busy for vets-there are a lot of dogs in that condition. It seems everybody feeds the dog when nobody is looking and the dog gets a screwed up digestive system with all the grease that it’s not used to. “No way” said They. He said that He gave the dog only a couple of pieces. She admitted She did the same. They canvassed the peeps who were there and it turns out everybody fed the dog. It took a couple of days for the dog to recover.
Moral of the story is don’t waste your money on vet fees the day after the holiday-save it for more dog treats throughout the year!

Yeah, They told me the story and I knew it had a point. Young as I am, I figured out the point and moral of the story.

Excellent advice! It’s 90 F today….so no way would we do any roasting, excepting out in the sun. We are laughin’ at Kyla having to have a bath..
