Our Christmas Card to you

A lot of Christmas cards and gifts are speeding around the world from and for bloggers. He thought that was wonderful and asked me if I wanted to do a gift exchange and to whom I wanted to send Christmas cards. It didn’t take me long to say “no” to both gifts and cards.  “Why Kyla, you old grinch, that’s not in the spirit of the holiday”. I had to tell Him I wasn’t finished yet. Instead of spending the money to send stuff internationally to a lot of dogs, why don’t we help one dog very much? Let’s take that money and send it to someone who really needs it. Kaci popped in, “Great idea-let’s send it to my former home, Lovebugs Rescue. They do great work and my adoption fee wasn’t that much (especially to value received) so I don’t know how they make ends meet”.  “Done” said He. He’s going to make a donation to Lovebugs Rescue in the name of all of Blogville and hopefully it will make a BIG difference to a dog that doesn’t otherwise stand a chance. This rescue organization isn’t even local but dogs don’t care about peeps’ borders. At various times throughout the year when He feels the Christmas spirit, He sends something to the local no-kill shelter. This one is on top of that. So, to my good buddies out there, you won’t be getting a Christmas card or gift from me this year but it doesn’t mean I don’t love you. We really wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

All the best to you and yours (except the bad guys in your back yard), Love, Kyla, Kaci, Kismet, Kharma (who’s been missing for a while) and our peeps.

About Kismet
