The bad thing is that our Chrismas tree contains NO ornaments on the lower branches. The good thing is that the tree has been “puppy proofed” and you only do that because you have a puppy in the pack. I heard that Ranger, you don’t think we need to puppy proof anything but look at what Kaci the Destroyer did last night to His sleeping spot that she (and me) like to share with Him:
Oh my Kaci. Both He and I like a soft bed so what’s with this? Conan Kaci the Destroyer dug through the top bed cover (She was cleaning the sheets) and kept on going-the green foam was a softener. I thought Kaci liked that also. The good and bad news is that we have a puppy on our hands and she’s starting to feel at home.

When we got Roxy last year….we didn’t even have a tree! Glad Kaci is feeling so at home.

She just chewed my beard again. I hoped the tree would take the brunt of her “attentions”. She’s got a few months to go to get out of this stage but because of the shelters, she has “arrested development”.
Ahhhhhh, the gifts of a puppy, Look out tree, it may be coming down one night. As long a she doesn’t terriorize you!!!

My mom “puppy proofs” lots of things. One would think that she doesn’t trust me. I must admit that I am curious and I do like to put everything in my mouth. We haven’t gotten a tree yet and mom says that when we do, it will look like yours. She may even buy a short one and put it on a end table. I hope we get a big one so I can see it real good. I do like lights.
I hope you are not in the dog house for too long. I’ve been there.

BOL! Okays, try living with a 55lbs puppy. Now, I’m not saying that I, the perfect angel Ruby, can’t be trusted….butts, Ma thinks I can’t (something about knockin’ over the Christmas tree and chewin’ the ornies [don’t worry, the ones I ‘ate’ were handmade felt ones]). So, now Ma just has a tabletop tree, FAR above where I can eat it. SO not fair.
I do have to say ‘Bravo’ to Kaci for making herself at home killin’ her bed! I’m sure it won’t be the last of her ‘kills’.

Yeah it was her bed, but He uses it as His bed. They are NOT happy.
Oh Kyla…. I know these puppy pains too. Mr. Fox redecorated the living room one day. It wasn’t pretty from a human perspective. When I showed people the pictures they all said, ‘no wonder he’s a rescue.’ Poor lovable little pups. They grow. The beard chewing… who knows if that will stop. I hope so.

I did that to my bed, Humom bought me a lovely bed, I was cleaning it, and a bit of stuffing popped out, then a bit more, my bed was pretty flat by the time I had finished..BOL we love your tree, it looks so pretty 🙂 xxooxx
