I look at the garden and there’s this:
What’s happened to the cactus? Maybe they’re Chirstmasized? Maybe that’s their tinfoil hats? No, it’s protection from the cold (but it’s 60 today) in the night. These are not native and are more susceptible to a freeze and the cups are supposed to help. Do they? I don’t really know but the cactus sellers use them on their stock. Kaci and I aren’t stupid enough to put these “hats” on (after all they’re not genuine tinfoil)-we stay inside soaking up the sun through the windows and watch the bunnies.

The cactus doesn’t speak to me. I hear lots of voices and most of the say “KYLA, STOP THAT RIGHT NOW”.

I think the cactus were partying and put those lampshades on their heads ~ then they made up the excuse about the weather because they did not want to invite you and Kaci to their New Years party. Kick them out of your yard I say.

In college we were not supposed to have those cups because of what we filled them with. I’m sure the cacti appreciate the love but I think you and Kaci look absolutely beautiful laying in the patch of sunshine.

Wow-a summer vacation-something I can’t do right now.

I guess they protect vegetation and we animals need the real tinfoil.
It’s a christmas cactus!!!! And a beautiful one at that! You should add the button i just made for Christmas critters to this, luckily you don’t have to have snow!
Yeah, we wouldn’t get it anyway. It’s snowed once in the last 10 years and it actually stuck for 30 minutes.
