Well, we finally caught a ride. A truck stopped and said that we were two girls and a sled in search of snow, which we were. The driver said he was going home to snow country and would take us there, Yipppee! I asked to borrow his cell phone to tell my peeps we were on our way but got a shock when the peeps said that the Iditarod was over and the tail-enders were straggling in. What??? That was the bad news. The good news was that since we never quit, we finished in 45th place. I know 1st gets a gold medal, second a silver and third a bronze. What did we win? A participation pin in the color of puppy poo. We hadn’t gone too far and the peeps came and got us-the man in the truck waited and all was fine. My peeps said we were off track anyway because the licence plate on the truck was from Vermont.
We rested up in preparation for Stuart and Ranger’s birthday party.
Stuart is 7 and Ranger is 1 and we’re attending the beach birthday party because they’re two of our favorites. It’s an open party so stop by and say hello, you’re invited also.
What? Iditarod is over? How bad… But if you ask me I would still go to Anchorage now – then you are the first for the next race. Don’t be sad for the participation pin – that’s the same what I always get on Dog Shows. (and not even in puppy poo color) Maybe we can have a drink together at Stuart’s and Rangers Barkday Pawty – I like your Baywatch outfit!!!!
I can’t go to Anchorage now-that would make me miss the party.
Oh that’s true – you’re right… I like your swimsuit!!!
I was going to come and rescue you guys in my new pink Ferrari, Oh we are having such fun at the beach Pawty… Surfing later 🙂 xx00xx

Do you have a similar event Down Under that Team Blogville can use as a tune up? I guess we could go to Antarctica, but Kaci would be chasing the penguins.
See you at Ranger and Stuart’s party!
You too look very sweet laying there together. I’m glad you never made it to Alaska. Really, the peeps would miss you and who needs all that snow in the beard anyway?
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Yes, the peeps would really miss us.
Wooo!!! I think you girls did all right just having a go!
You both look exhausted and look like you are enjoying your very well-deserved rest. Adventures are always tiring.
Oh noes guys! Mummy says I can enter next year so we can give it another shot:-)
