It’s been six months already, and yesterday was the six month Gotcha Day for Kaci.
She had been in a few places and her history was unknown except that Lovebugs rescue found her in a pen with a lot of BIG dogs in a kill shelter. She came to us six months ago, a very scared pup. She was scared of big dogs and unknown people. Today, she’s at home in more ways than one
Most of the time she has a toy in her mouth and she can’t seem to walk anywhere without one.
She truly fits in with the insanity around here.

I’m so glad you found a furever home, Kaci… I have always tears in my eyes when I read only the words “kill shelter”… The most time I have a toy in my mouth too – or better, pieces of a toy :o) Happy 6-Months-Gotcha Day :o)
She’s managed to destroy toys that neither I nor Kenzie could do. It takes a while with some of them.
We rescued our Bella. I love her super much. I love me some puppies.
Puppes are much better when they grow up. Then again, I never did.

I have to be careful with the ice cream and cake. Does boiled potatoes sound like a rollicking good time to you? You think you’re crazy, try my Idaho diet. They won’t even let me cheat because of Kaci’s gotcha day.

I didn’t think she was a turtle, but she’s coming out of her shell. I asked her if she were a turtle and I can’t repeat what she said.
