Kaci loves to chase anything. I remember when I thought I could get a bird (ah, puppyhood). One of the things Kaci chases is lizards. She’s never gotten one that I know of. I got one, bit off the tail and the lizard ran away. I think the tail grows back. It’s a hoot to see Kaci-she chases the lizard and it will go under a bush where Kaci can’t get it. Kaci circles the bush and the lizard makes a break for it the other way (lizards are really quick). Yesterday Kaci was in full pursuit of a lizard but instead of going under a bush, it hit the pool and went swimming. He had to fish lizard it out of the pool. They’re harmless so He did it with His hand.
It was just a youngster itself. No lizards were harmed in making this post-He released it and it went on its way quickly.

Kaci hasn’t been in the pool yet. Maybe next weekend but She’s not feeling well so it will have to wait until She’s better.

Kaci also hunts slow bees, but she’ll find out if she catches one. She snaps at them.
Oh a lizard. My brother once found an iguana in our yard in NJ when we were kids. We named it Charlie. Now all lizards we see are Charlie. It was nice of Him to lizard Charlie out of the pool. I bet Kaci’s having a good ol time chasing Charlies around the yard. Have a great Sunday!

Nope, They’re reasonable swimmers. There’s no way for a lizard to get out of the pool by itself. It was only in the water for a minute.
We try to catch the little skinks but they’re too quick and not as big as your lizard. Probably good Kaci didn’t try to go in after him!

I’m glad you rescued the little fella. We have lizards here. I would chase them and I bet I could come close to catching one too but we can get quite big ones! Really, huge things about _______________________________________________________ this long!
No seriously, we have something called a blue tongued skink which can grow pretty big. Zac and I saw one on the other side of the glass window and we were really wanting to get out and visit with it and it stopped and looked at us flicking it’s tongue out and I think if I’d got out I would have sat and observed it! It came up to my ankles and was about half my length.
I don’t think these guys are dangerous. I guess they’re fair game because they sure are fun to chase. They’re quick and crafty.
Wow, a lizard. The biggest thing we hunt around here is a blow fly!
I looked up the blow fly. We have something similar-houseflies. I don’t like them.
I think she’ll get a lizard one day. You can just watch.

I love the geckos we get here. They are so cute. I always name them when I see them. I’m glad no lizzards were hurt in the making of this post. 😉
It’s the race that excites, not the actually catching.
I love lizards….which is weird because any of the reptiles besides lizards and turtles I am usually a little nervous around, though understandably thats because the only other reptile that comes to mind is a crocodile! lol
We have snakes for you and they’re reptiles.
