Park Day 3.0

It was “Bark in the Park” day at the ball park yesterday where dogs were welcomed-except me, of course. Only customers could bring a dog. Nevermind (I’ve given up pleading my case to go), He played the part of the investigative journalist in attempt number three to find a Scottie (Attempts one and two). The attendance was 38,222 humans and “RUFFly 350” dogs. My apologies to Roscoe, a Wheaten Terrier mix who came all the way from Tucson because my incompetent photographer botched that photo. We found some dogs that would interest our pals. For Easy, there is Sydney, a female from Peoria (no Easy, He didn’t get the phone number)

SAM_0563and for Misaki, there’s Snow, a Siberian Husky from Peoria. I know she’s not a Malamute, but the best He can do is get close sometimes.

SAM_0562It seems Snow is prepared for Sunglass Day coming soon.

For my Yorkie friends in Scottsdale, there’s Roxy, also from Scottsdale.

For Kaci, there’s Weston from Scottsdale

And for us Scotties, Schnauzer Kona from Tempe represented us because once again, no Scotties.

SAM_0560She watched the game at home and they showed a lot of dogs. She said that one of the announcers (Bob Brenly, a former all-star catcher and manger of the Diamondbacks when they won it all in 2001, saw Roxy and called her a Scottie. Bob, don’t give up your announcing job to be a dog show judge. In the game, San Francisco beat Arizona 6-2.

SAM_0568We end this report with something a lot of you have already seen, but it’s great. It’s from Bark in the Park II, last year

binthep2Luckily there were no surprises like last year in Attempt 2.

  3. Whats this stuff about you never get to go, being that HE works there you should be in charge of all pupper functions during the game. And Yo Bob, get a doggie book, sos you can tell what’s what for heaven’s sake.

  4. I don’t know Kyla it doesn’t seem fair that you can’t go…The Park obviously needs the presence of one pawsome Scottie to up the classiness of the event…Next time HE needs to rent you a “customer” so you can go too…Momz sez we’re waiting for the Tigers to have a Bark Day here so I can go to the Ball Park

  5. I like Snow’s shade. Cool.
But it’s not fair dat you didn’t get to go. Maybe it was too hot.

    • Nope-it was indoors and air-conditioned to 77. There were no dogs in the area where He was so I don’t feel picked upon. If I were there and knew about Roxy being called a Scottie by Bob Brenley, I would have been in the area where I could have told him off.

  6. Yeesh, no scotties. What kind of an event is that???

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  7. Those are some pretty cool dogs!!

  8. We think there may be more to this story than meets the eye – they know that you’d take charge and the peeps find that intimidating…typical!

  9. WE MUST do something about your ability to attend this grand event!

  10. I’m also sad you didn’t go to this event again. But, really, the announcer thinks a schnauzer is a scottie? REALLY? That is just sad for that poor man.
