We woke up this morning and there was a roadrunner in our back yard. This doesn’t bother me any more-I’ve learned that I’m not going to catch a bird. The roadrunner can fly but I couldn’t even catch him on the ground-they’re fast and quick. We forgot to ask what he was doing in our back yard. Perhaps the turtle statue was going to deliver a package for Wiley Coyote from the Acme Manufacturing Company but it was way too early for deliveries.
Meep Meep, we use to watch that all the time. How cool you having one in your garden 🙂 xx00xx

They actually do run across the road and they seldom get hit because they’re so quick.
To beep or not to beep, that’s the question…I never saw such a bird. (It’s a bird, right?) and I wonder why he has no name. All Looney tunes have a name, only the road runner is just the road runner… I hope Wile E.Coyote has fun with this balls.
If W. Coyote is gonna have fun with those-it better be someplace other than my yard.
Mee meep!
That’s pretty good!
I love this post and it made me smile. Yes, roadrunners are fast. Very fast.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
I made the pro smile!
A real roadrunner!?! Kyla that is something not even my Momz has seen…bet it’s more fun to chase than my silly ducks
Ducks can be caught. Catching a roadrunner is like trying to jump over the moon-only a cow can do it.
A roadrunner, did he have a number assigned, was he in a road race, never seen one, if they are that fast probably never will, oh well. Barharhar, a case of exploding tennis balls, bet Bites could go over the moon with those!
Susie
If you feed Bites the wrong type of beans, he’d go over the moon.
You do know he is a BEAN!
Susie
Yeah, but that’s a good BEAN.
That is too funny!!!! Wiley is actually one of my favorites…Thank you for the smile!!!!
I’d like to see Wiley win-just ONCE!
Oh, I know!!!! 🙂
Beep-beep.
We didn’t hear any noise from this one.
Hope Wiley didn’t want his package in a hurry!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
There’s no fear of getting it soon if they sent it by the Post Office.
I can’t escape the roadrunner. My college and the school I currently work at both have the roadrunner as a mascot. Glad you didn’t exhaust yourself on that guy. Hope you some green beans for having self control. If not, maybe Acme will deliver some for you.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
If they came from Acme, the beans would be produced on the same assembly line as the exploding cigars.
Geee…we’ve never seen a real road runner before. Cool
wags
Jazzi and Addi
They’ve been here but it’s tough to get a picture of one-they spook easily and then they’re off like the wind.
WHAT! Road Runners are ACTUAL, REAL birds!? Mom says her childhood is now complete!
MEE MEEP!!!
Coyotes are real also. What isn’t real is the ability to walk off the cliff and not drop until you look down. Don’t try that at home.
If you do try that at home, you won’t be my chinas anymore!
Well, all I have to say is watch out for falling anvils! BOL
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
I better get my tinfoil hat out again.
And I thought the turtle was real. Quite the menagerie you’ve got there my Kyla friend.
But I’m the star!
Watch out for the coyotes that follow though!!
Meep-meep!
