We’re all going to Montana on our trip starting Thursday. You’re invited also-just read the posts here. You’ll enjoy the Rocky Mountain area of the US with us. When I said we’re all going, that includes Kaci and me. Not ALL of us are going-Kismet is going to birdie summer camp for two weeks-back to the bird store where we first saw her. We packed up the Kismet this morning in her travelling coach-she thinks she’s in jail.
Then put her and her cage into the car (the Scottiemobile wouldn’t hold the cage)
and it’s off to see her fellow campers. There were African Grey babies which look like little dinosaurs
and your standard green parrots
They even had a four month old Indian Ringneck that was just like Kismet. The parents were the same so it was her sister
I hope the birds and bird store are in one piece after Kismet gets through with them. I’m going to miss Kismet for two weeks and we’ll post bail for her two weeks from today.
I bet Kismet is going to miss you girls! Safe trip.
Sweet William The Scot
I’ll miss her also. I certainly hope it’s a safe trip.
My bag’z are packed ” My Sister from another Mother ” BOL.. got the beans and super fat free treat’s.. This is gonna be some road trip 🙂 xx00xx PEE-ESS Kismet will be just fine, stick her ornament in her cage and she’ll think she’s got a new buddie and natter for hours.. Woohoooooo see ya soon xx0xx
Mollie and Alfie
That’s a full sister she’s got there. She’ll be fine with her sister for a couple of weeks. Since Kismet is MY bird, I worry about all the boarders gossiping together about their owners. I wonder what she’ll say about me.
A camp for birdies….who knew? Let’s hope they don’t give her any ideas about being top dog in your house.
Our auntie from San Antonio is going to Montana this week, too!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
We’ll be in Helena, then Glacier Nat’l Park in the north near Canada.
Kismet looks sweet, and we are sure she’ll have a good time with her birdie sistah!
Woooowoooooo, Ku
She can be a bossy bird when the spirit moves her. The peeps at the bird store have no idea what they’re in for. Don’t forget that she’s owned by a terrier and that’s her role model (ME)!
I’m sure Kismet will not do too much damage.
Have a great two weeks. 🙂
You haven’t dealt with her.
Oh boy, off to see the wizard hey, have fun, Montana, ohhhhhhhhh. Bet kismet has a blast and pawty time every day with her sister!
The Mad Scots
What if she doesn’t want to come home in 2 weeks? I’ll be crushed.
Enjoy your trip. Sid does not travel well. He moans and groans the whole time that we are in the car. It is no fun.
I don’t know how Kaci is going to react. She did a five hour car trip when we got her but we don’t know about overnight and a couple in a row at that. I’m fine until I reach a construction zone-gotta chase them construction equipments away. Three years ago when I went to Montana, we had to stop for construction and there was a steamroller just outside the window. I barked myself hoarse. The peeps were not amused.
Oh you are going to have a wonderful time!! Those fellow campers have some beautiful furs. I bet they taste good too 🙂 if we could only catch them!
Even you wouldn’t want to tangle with that macaw.
I have to tell you I never knew there were bird camps Kyla…Learn somethingnew every day…Will Kismet be interacting with the different birds? Do they get along? I know so little about birds I have to ask
From what I saw, they’ll get along. Most of her time will be spent in solitary, however.
Oh, I hopes Kismet has funs with her burdie friends! I’m sure they’ll have tons to talk abouts!! (let’s hope she doesn’t spill the beans on the goings on at Casa Kyla!!)
Have a safe trip, and I’m so glads your takin’ us along!!! (Oh, BTW, I don’t get car sick, so it should be good!! BOL)
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
I don’t get car sick either. Kaci was OK on her one trip to her forever home. We don’t know about Kaci in a motel.
I’m sure Kismet will have fun and you will have fun too. Leave the poor construction guys alone – I know, it’s hard, you want to kill them. Maybe you will even get some wind in your fur.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
It’s not the guys-it’s the steamrollers, cranes and jackhammers.
I get it. It’s like the time Mr. Fox went after the street sweeper. I’m sure you can take that steamroller. No problem.
I hope Kismet has fun, she might make some feathered furends!
I’m sure she’ll enjoy not getting barked at.
We are super excited for your trip girls!!
We hope Kismet isn’t too peeved about being left behind.
She can get tempramental.
Such a shame Kismet can’t join you 😦
She could fly along side us if we could trust her to keep up.
I feel sorry for Kismet and I hope she has fun with her sister. I love the picture of the African gray babies, they are wonderful.
Those guys are really young. Good talkers when they’re grown.
Hope y’all have a safe trip and that Kismet doesn’t learn any new naughty words at camp!
Edgar and his mum
I don’t think there are any she doesn’t know already.
