This past April, some canines were upset that they weren’t allowed on the couch. Say what???? We’ve always been allowed there so we didn’t join the protest because you don’t fight for something you already have.
Well, our Doxie cousins have us one better. They are ENCOURAGED to use the couch. Being Doxies, getting there and down can be hard on the back so their peeps have built them ramps!
Of course I had to snoopervise everything and it was such hard work, I had to nap.

There are some peeps who put barriers so we can’t get on the couch. Nothing better that doesn’t have to do with food than cuddling on the couch.
You’ll be wanting one next no doubt …. then you can save all that energy spent in jumping onto the couch and use it up for eating!!! Hope you’re having a grrrreat time.

how cool! I can see the “walk of fame” on the ramp. What a great idea! We had a “stair” for our Terrier too as he was a senior and had problems to jump on the bed. But she disliked that thingy and barked till the “bed-taxi” came and lifted her up :o)
Not this terrier. I’ll ramp or stair it instead of calling for assistance.
I bark for more food. And for the “basement taxi” to take me to Her office. And to take me over to Sniglet’s to play and sniff her butt. I say there’s nothing wrong with barking for assistance. Really, Kyla, you should try it. Uh…maybe that’s why I’m carrying extra poundage….
I’m going to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Sometimes, They’re not here.

I still jump on my couches. Yes. I said “couches”. You betcha! And, stop calling yourself an old hag. You’re quite fetching to me….”fetch.” Now there’s a laugh. Wanna fetch me some green beans????

I have one that can be either a ramp or a stairs. I prefer it in stair mode.

Very cool! I gots a ramp for my truck (never used it..yet), butts this is cool for the small pups! I can’t imagine not be able to go on the couches!! OMD, does that mean some pups ACTUALLY have to use their DOG BEDS???! Oh, the horrors!

These guys really need it. Kaci doesn’t yet. I can get down from a hotel bed but not up without our stairs. The doxies really need it for their backs at any age.
