One more day to go and then HOME! This was the longest day in the car of the trip, Idaho Falls to St George, Utah (almost in Arizona). We went the other way on Interstate 15 and saw the same things. We REALLY wanted to do something about the Salt Lake for Sweet William the Scot.
The day started out with rain in Idaho-here’s bad car pictures
It ended the same way in Southern Utah with thunder and lightening.
Now for our Salt Lake problem. Most places would feature this natural wonder but the locals make it tough. You have to take a big side trip to even get close. I can’t believe that there’s all this industrial stuff around the lake around the Salt Lake City area. I don’t try to say something that isn’t true to all of you so this is a picture of Utah Lake and I hope you like it.
Utah Lake is slightly salty and the water feeds into the Great Salt Lake so you’re peering into the Salt Lake in the future. That makes sense, but not to me.
After all this car work, we’re gassed. See you tomorrow (maybe, we might just rest).
y’all look exhausted hope you get a good nights rest
Aroo to you,
Sully
A weak aroo to you. Until I rest, that’s the best I can do. My entire daily schedule is in tatters.
Mama’s wondering 2 things : where are the potatoes, and when is she gonna see The Osmonds! You too look whacked, but you’ve got a nice big bed to crash out on. Enjoy some serious snoozzZZZZzzing!
The Osmonds must be on tour and we saw the potatoes on the way up a week ago. Donny says “Hello”!
We thought the Great Salt Lake was very salty! Shame about the rain. But we’re impressed you’re staying in a nice, big bed.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Big bedtime is what we need.
Even raining it still looks pretty! You look so cute and sleep in that last pigture. What an exciting adventure you have been on!

It’s an awful lot of car travelling.
Rest up, that bed look comfy enough for resting on!
It gets a “Kyla Seal of Approval”.
Look at you guys in that big bed. traveling does make you so tired. We have loved that you have shared your trip with us. Hope the rain clears xx00xx

For you, the best is yet to come-the pictures of Glacier Park.
Yep, nice view of the lake, it’s a shame that peeps can really mess up some wonderful sites, Nice rain storm out there in the middle of nowhere. Boy you guys sure got a nice bed to catch up on some pupper snoozing!
The Mad Scots
We’re up to the snoozing part, for sure.
Maybe with all this rain the Salt Lake was melting away? Have sweet dreams&a wonderful Sunday
We can’t let it overflow-all that salt might contaminate the oceans.
That’s a good point – imagine an ocean with salty water, a no-go and an ecological disaster :o)
I definitely enjoyed your carcation and the view of the beds has been extraordinaire.
Sweet William The Scot
Stay tuned this week for pics of Glacier Nat’l Park.
You’ve gone a very long way and I know you are tired. Lots of naps will fix that.
Have a fabulous day. :)(
No joke-we arrived HOME safe!
