We continued into the park on the Going to the Sun Road. The road will have its own post later. We finally got to see some snow (it’s late August-the equivalent of late February in the Southern Hemisphere).
These are not glaciers, they’re remnants. They don’t move. A glacier moves and the top front of the glacier rolls under and becomes the bottom. Here’s a glacier:
Oh my dogness Kaci…you get any more excited and you might slip into a coma *BOL*
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Pups…what do they know..
You went all that way, and you sleep. Kaci, you need to get your act together.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Ah, to be young again and not have a care in the world.
Gee… I’ve never seen snow before!
Neither had Kaci, but she couldn’t get to touch it.
Bawahwhahwha what beautiful pictures Kyla, that’s the problem with the young today, they just don’t wanna learn new stuff BOL xx0xx
Mollie and Alfie
They don’t want to learn old stuff, either.
We had Glaciers in the Ice Age in Ohio. My Grandmothers farm had a valleys with enormous amounts of rocks that had Trilobites fossils, Many museums have those fossils now from her property.
Kaci the way you are sleeping that glacier could overtake you and you could become a fossil.
Sweet William The Scot
Um, becoming a fossil is hitting to close to home for me.
There’s nothing quite like seeing all that snow on the mountains. I love going through the sierra’s in the late spring with the roads first open. Beautiful.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
One year They went to Reno for Christmas and it snowed. They headed home and ignored the “chains required” sign. She didn’t breathe until They were well over the Donner Summit. No problem.
Saving up energy for later in the trip I guess!
I was excited to hear about the history, see the sights, smell the smells and soak it all in. Kaci missed her squeaky toys.
aw, she’s just a young pup…maybe she’ll develop a better appreciate of new experiences over time?
edgar and his mum
It’s just not the type of new experience she wanted-it was peep stuff.
Oooo Pretty! I don’t blame Kaci for the nap – she looked very comfy.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Yay for snow!!
