Last year October 14 was on Sunday and we left for home from California with four of us – we started with three. Kaci came home. Although we first saw her on the 13th, she arrived home on the 14th. We celebrated the first anniversary of her home coming.

With each of us with a new toy, we look like identical twins.
Now here’s my brilliant idea
If we got a new dog every day for a year, every day could be a Gotcha Day with toys and treats for all for years to come.

Tell that one to my Lee and plead the case, because I don’t get a toy till the old one is worn out. But wait a moment that means I would not be an only dog. That would take away my top dog status. Keep the toys.

Why would it take away your top dog status? You were there first. Since I was here first, I have that top dog status over all the johnny-come-latelys. Your problem is Lee’s policy. Another dog could wear out your toys for you so you can get new!
Great idea….except you might want to help some of them find homes afterwards. Our treats are cut up into threes….can’t imagine what would happen when cut into 365 or 366 pieces…sheesh!

Oh NO. Everyone would have to get a full one of their own. How would you even find 1/365th of a treat. I could smell it but couldn’t taste it.
