Kaci and I don’t participate in card exchanges, but we might be shamed to do something this year. We’ve received some and I’m going to show you some of the exceptional ones. I don’t keep count like others do because I don’t want to embarrass the peeps (They’re doing very well this year, having received less than one so far).
The first is from Sidney and Shelby (known as corkscot). They don’t have a blog but snoop in on others’ blogs. It was a package that had a paw-made cover for date books (date book included)!
Those are Scotties on the bandana. Thank you very much, Sidney and Shelby!
We received what appears to be a paw-made card from Susie and Sidebite. It’s in layers and very 3D. Very cute. Thanks Susie-I know Bites couldn’t make anything this beautiful.
Then we got a personalized calendar-complete with a picture of Sweet William.
The only problem is that it didn’t come with instructions. SWTS, where’s the switch to turn on the bagpipe music?
OMD what wonderful things, we got the beautiful card from Susie and Sidebite and SW, like you, were’z the MUZIC Bawahwhhahahwa xxooxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
It must be from an imposter SWTS.
Glad you got our calendar.
Those cards that Susie and Sidebite sent were truly beautiful. The card they sent me had a different flower on it and I saw Daisy’s card had a different one also. I think maybe Bree made them from Cowspotdog blog.
That Day Planner what a great gift.
Sweet William The Scot
WHERE’S MY MUSIC????
I could hum, butts it just wouldn’t be the same….
I don’t know of any living thing that can sing like bagpipes. If you’re going to try, do it away from everyone else 🙂
How nice. It’s good to get special cards and gifts from wonderful friends.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
And they’re very creative!
We are so happy that you like the book cover and the bandanas. Mom is crafty. We are working on our blog with WordPress. Mom is getting the hang of things, so please keep checking on Corkscot.
It’s a lot easier if you just announce it here and other places you like. That way we won’t check it until it’s ready!
Hey Kyla & Kaci Corkscot put up a post today. I’ll give you the link and make it easy on ya!
http://corkscot.wordpress.com/2013/12/04/corky/
OK, I’ll check it out.
You have some great presents there. But we have to say that Kaci seems to have the same reaction we do when we have to put on bandannas..BOL!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
She’s never been in an airplane, but that’s the red eye special.
Thanks Kyla, and we think the responses you give are a blast, thats the bestest card you can give, cause you make us laugh! Kaci, you almost blinded me with the res lazers.
The Mad Scots
If there’s no fun in it, what’s the point of doing it? Life is just too short to be around bad dogs and have no fun.
Awww those are just lovely. Aren’t you lucky pups!
Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil
xxxx
Yes, we are very lucky. We’re lucky for good friends and since we’re both rescues-things could have been a lot worse.
Y’all look very spiffy in the scottie bandanas.
Aroo to you,
Sully
Anyone would be spiffy in one.
We just met the Corkscots on their blog (http://corkscot.wordpress.com/) what gorgeous stuff they sent you!!
We do love Susie and Sidebites’ card and are thrilled to see that SW is sending out a calendar again this year, mom just loved her 2013 one.
Wally & Sammy
It’s great to have talented friends (and that includes you).
Oh Oh Oh, I just loved those cards! How fun for you gals! Your furiends are very organized in blogville. It’s all I can do to go work and help human child with his homework, among other things…
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
That’s more important, certainly. Plus you get to see what they’re teaching these days.
Kyla the human child went on you tube and yelled, ‘Mom, Kyla Scott posted a video!!!’ Ha! I said, I know I saw it, it’s cute. PS – I’m a teacher so I know what we teach and it’s not inspiring… I don’t like all this testing. Didn’t you hate those tests in dog school?
I’m a card carrying terrier and to keep the card, I have to flunk obedience school. I don’t think teaching for a test is real education. Education isn’t remembering “facts”, it’s learning how to look them up and apply them by actually thinking.
I knew you were my kinda girl Kyla! I feel the same way! Thankfully the trend is starting to move in that direction again but they still have the dang tests! As a terrier peep I am proud of your ability to be smarter than those obedient types. You can think for yourself!!
I couldn’t find my switch either. Tricksy cards!
He hid it so well that I’ll have to get out an x-ray machine to find it.
Oh a sweet William calendar, I’m sure with this calendar you will have a super 2014!
It’s already on the wall-it’s also off the wall.
i love the little scottie book, soooo perfect! And I want one of those calendars soo bad! Sorry we have been away, we are back on the blogospere this friday!
Let me see what I can do with Sweet WIlliam.
So sweet!
Monty and Harlow
Yup, they are!
Wow … aren’t you the lucky girls. I love all those pressies you got. I’m probably gonna be a bit “bah humbug” this year with cards – my staff just aren’t co-operating; I probably need a change in personnel. Anyway, I’ve “borrowed” lots of scottie prints/drawings from my Facebook friends, and these will get “re-cycled” to you guys in an appropriate fashion … one day ….. soon ….. hopefully before Christmas!
My staff needs a kick in the butt also.
