Kaci here. Last night (Christmas eve), I told Kyla that I wanted to leave something for Santa so he’d give me better presents. She said that Santa must be a Scot, because all goodness is Scot. He’s probably appreciate a nip of Scotch but not too much-he has to drive and those reindeer have no sense of direction. Kyla said that if he’s not going to have too much, make it good stuff like Johnnie Walker Blue Label. That was a brilliant idea-but I couldn’t find any Blue Label in the house (cheap peeps). Being a smart little terrier, I made do.
When I got up this morning, this is what I found
I guess that the spelling on your label might have been a clue and Santa was not happy with you. We wish you a Merry Christmas.
Wat was rong with it?
Kaci, there are no spell checkers on paper-no red line shows up that shows that it’s incorrectly spelled.
Oh, my bad.
Mom was a mathematics teacher, not an English teacher. What does she know?
Kaici,, we really wonder if it was Santa that did that, betcha it was of his Elf helpers, they are not the greatest anymore! Or maybe Santa drank the whole bottle and thought the rock was something else. Anywho, merry christmas Guys
The Mad Scots & Tator
Susie, Sidebite & Shadow
All I know is that I’m left with this rock. Merry Christmas to you guys but I’m sulking.
Hey, know sulking on this day, you got Kyla and you got us as your good Fur Pals!
Susie & Bites
Pees: will be back posting and commenting Friday, when we get home (dads using his sons so he can’t do much)
Bwahahahahahahaha. At least it wasn’t a lump of coal. That would have been really bad. Have a woof woof Christmas. My best to your humans. 🙂
Kyla got the lump of coal. It guess that’s worse and probably because she didn’t try to bribe him. Kyla already visited you and wished you a Merry Christmas, and you also get best wishes from me.
Now, creating your own blue label…pretty ingenious in our opinion!!!! BWAHHH!!!! That’s a terrier though, super smart and creative…How could Santa not like such an original present?
Santa is a squirrel lover?
Santa must have been in a BAD mood by the time he got to your house! We thought your label was ingenious! Next year, use that rock in a trap…hang it over the treats and let it hit him on the head….karma (and we don’t mean the frog).
Good idea. Maybe that will knock some sense into him.
Oh, you TOTALLY got ripped off gurl!!! That’s just not right….maybe Santa Paws likes margaritas!!! That’s what I served…hey, with all this booze, that Big Guy must REALLY be jolly!!!! BOL
Merry Christmas to you guys!!
If he hit your house before mine, maybe he was so soused that he didn’t know what he was doing and thought the rock was really a treat.
Well what did you expect. You ripped Santa Paws off first by trying to pass the cheap stuff off as the good stuff. Then the second mistake was signing your own name. Live and learn.
Sweet William The Scot
I heard that there is a job opening in the Cincinnati DA’s office. You’re perfect but you have to leave the bagpipes at home 🙂
Merry Christmas girls! I was naughty and ate all my pressies early, so Santa didn’t leave anything for me either! 😦
Edgar and his mum
How’s Kyla gonna eat a lump of coal? How am I gonna eat a rock? I heard that from the back of the room, NO, the answer of with salt and pepper doesn’t count.
A rock is better than a piece of coal. Maybe you have to wait 3 days&nights and the rock will be a piece of gold?
More likely it’s a bomb that will go off pretty soon. It’s big enough.
Maybe its a secret code of some kind
The best I could figure out is that it is Morse Code and it’s a single dot-meaning the letter “E”. I’m lost on the meaning.
oh well, rocks are useful anyway… they can stop doors and erm… you can stick air plants on them 😛
And they’re smarter than some humans I’ve encountered.
That’s so not cool… I think you’ve been set up mate!
