The camera has been found. This elevates the peep perp from Dum-Dum Stupid first class to Dum-Dum Stupid second class (a promotion and a step in the right direction). Since the story was told in the previous post, the pictures will only have a brief summary.
Here’s poor Kali’s leg before the vet saw her.
Here’s Tabby whom we met at the vet and her car. I couldn’t put a sticker like that on the Scottiemobile-because the SM is MINE!
Kali went back to the vet on Saturday and had her bandage changed. She’s going again tomorrow to do it again. Thursday the stitch comes out. Here’s what she looks like now:
She likes to pick at the bandage. They put one of my booties on the foot instead of the alternative-the cone of shame. Yes, booties are back in style. Funny Elizabethan collars are not.
My mom says booties are always great. But I hope Kali’s leg will heal up quickly and she can run around without the bandage . ( is it just the light or has she really emerald eyes?)
It’s just the light-she has dark eyes. I always feel good when she’s sleeping and not chewing her bandage or bootie.
Love that fashion bootie no matter the cause. BUT we hope that Ms. Kali is feeling better and that her leg heals soon so she can run and play with Kaci and you, Kyla, can continue to be the queen.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Kali is trying to run and play with us now. We’ve got to keep her separate and calm.
I’m glad that Kali is all fixed up and on the mend. What a little cutie pie she is too.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your humans. 🙂
She’s not all fixed up yet, but hopefully she’s on the mend. We had to rewrap her, she pulled everything including the bootie off her let.
Continue mending. We want you to be in perfect health. Remember to respect your elders. That goes for you too Kyla. Moms are allowed to misplace things. They have too much on their minds.
Actually, Dum Dum Stupid is Daddy.
Oh poor Kali! She is already ‘working it’ I see….way to go gurl! Did she learn that ‘poor me…now give me some treaties’ from you, or did it come naturally?
Here’s to hopin’ she heals fast and learned not to come near YOUR green beans….
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
That’s right, everything is MINE and I permit others to use MY stuff.
That’s a huge bootie! Hope it’s working so she can get that off her foot!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
She gets her bandage changed tomorrow and her stitch removed on Thursday. The bootie is working so we don’t need to slap the cone of shame on her.
Has Kali learned if your around she better inhale her food that way no doggies get hurt.
Aroo to you,
Sully
She’s had lesson numero uno.
Poor Kali! We hope you are feeling better soon! Better leave the wrap and that adorable fashion statement bootie alone until you’re all healed…then give it a few good shakes 🙂
Nope, she’s picking at everything.
Lets hope you don’t pull that off Kali, you need your leg to heal so you can race around with Kaci and be super quick to get those beans. Sending you healing love 🙂 xxxooxxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
We’re going to try a different approach.
Work that bootie Kali!
No more bootie
We’ll take a bootie over the cone of shame any day! You are rockin’ the 80’s / Michael Jackson single glove look Kali.
Mom LOVED the car pet magnet thingys on all the cars in the U.S. of A. She searched for a Scottie one but was only able to find an “I love my dogs” paw, so she bough one for herself and our Auntie Kym. She also found a special “I love my grand dogs” bone car magnet just for Oumie, who loves it!!
Feel better soon Kali.

Did you get the one “My Scottie is smarter than your honor student”? Yeah, I know you spell it honour but it’s a quote.
Kyla you really taught Kali that you are top dog and no one is taking your place. Those green beans if not gone immediately are yours.
Sweet William The Scot
[…] love to take her but we have two females. Kaci would probably be OK with her, but not Kali. This is what happened within a week after we got Kali. Kyla and Kali got into it and $400 in vet bills and an injured pup later it was settled. Scotties […]
