The Easter Creature visited

Here it was-outside this fine Easter morning. Don’t forget, they lay eggs too.

A visit from the Easter snake. Don’t worry, it’s just a gopher snake-would the Easter snake hurt anybody?

About Kismet

I'm a 16 year old Indian Ringneck parrot curmudgeon in New River, Arizona in the wild west country. If you're a sunflower seed, you're dinner.

  1. No the Easter snake wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Have a woof woof Easter. My best to your humans. πŸ™‚

  2. No Snakes. Ick. I hope Kali’s anti-snake class worked. They all scare me – harmless or not. Hope you are having a happy Easter with lots of green beans.

  3. Don’t care if it’s the Easter snake or Santa snake, we’re still glad it’s at your house. Did you let Kali out to see if her training works?

    Happy Easter!

    XXXOOO Bella & Roxy

    • No, she’d run anywhere that would interest her and get lost. Since it is not a rattlesnake, it doesn’t smell like one and the training isn’t in play.

  4. Why if that snake can lay an egg, fry it up in a pan and have yourself a scrambled egg Easter.
    Sweet William The Scot

  5. Thanks for sharing. mom is snake phobic.

  6. I know some snakes are our ‘friendly’ ones, but I am too afraid to ‘like’ them! πŸ™‚

  7. Good things it’s an Easter snake and not a Easter spider!! Ma doesn’t mind snakes butts spiders send her into freak-out mode!
Butts tell me, did you chase it?? I thinks it might be funs to chase it, since we don’t have them here, I don’t know.

    Kisses,

    • Those killjoy peeps wouldn’t let any of us out there until we ID’d it. I’ve chased enough lizards to know that reptiles can be quick. Send in the turtles.

  8. Yikes a sneaky snake. We are not mad fans of them here. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly
