Here it was-outside this fine Easter morning. Don’t forget, they lay eggs too.
A visit from the Easter snake. Don’t worry, it’s just a gopher snake-would the Easter snake hurt anybody?
No the Easter snake wouldn’t hurt anyone.
Have a woof woof Easter. My best to your humans. 🙂
Don’t run into any sea monsters on the Bay.
No Snakes. Ick. I hope Kali’s anti-snake class worked. They all scare me – harmless or not. Hope you are having a happy Easter with lots of green beans.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
I don’t get as many green beans as I’d like. They’re stingy with those.
Don’t care if it’s the Easter snake or Santa snake, we’re still glad it’s at your house. Did you let Kali out to see if her training works?
XXXOOO Bella & Roxy
No, she’d run anywhere that would interest her and get lost. Since it is not a rattlesnake, it doesn’t smell like one and the training isn’t in play.
Why if that snake can lay an egg, fry it up in a pan and have yourself a scrambled egg Easter.
Sweet William The Scot
You’d probably need a microscope to see it.
Thanks for sharing. mom is snake phobic.
If they’re non-poisonous, it’s just another critter.
I know some snakes are our ‘friendly’ ones, but I am too afraid to ‘like’ them! 🙂
But there’s no reason to freak out. I’m concerned about the ones that can harm.
Good things it’s an Easter snake and not a Easter spider!! Ma doesn’t mind snakes butts spiders send her into freak-out mode!
Butts tell me, did you chase it?? I thinks it might be funs to chase it, since we don’t have them here, I don’t know.
Wells, I hopes you gots some Easter green beans at least!!
Happy Happy Happy Easter to you and your peeps!
Those killjoy peeps wouldn’t let any of us out there until we ID’d it. I’ve chased enough lizards to know that reptiles can be quick. Send in the turtles.
Yikes a sneaky snake. We are not mad fans of them here. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
The harmless ones are OK-they mind their own business.
but it’s good camouflaged, we discovered it only with the second picture :o) I’m not sure if the Easter Snakie would hurt anybody, but it would make my mom running :o)
My only problem with the Easter Snake is that he can’t bring me much-something about no arms or legs to carry stuff.
Did they lay eggs in your backyard?? Did it go away after a while?
It went away by itself. They don’t bother anyone but small rodents.
Did she leave you some presents??
I haven’t found a snake bon-bon yet so I can’t report on the taste.
Cool! Did the snake lave some Easter eggs too?
This one must be male-but only another snake knows for sure.
YIKES! We much prefer the Easter bunny! Did the Easter snake per chance EAT the Easter bunny?
Wally & Sammy
I don’t think so-the EB is too smart for that and EB is a lot quicker. Save your baskets for next year-they’ll get EB’s attention.
Hmmm… I think I like the sound of an Easter Bilby better… Hope you had a good one!
The new math. 1 Easter Snake + 1 Easter Bilby = 1 Easter Snake.
Wooooo weeeeeeeeee! I’d hate to see that thing. Does it hop?
Not only can’t it hop, without feet it can’t do the two-step.
Wow, big snake! I love all living creatures, even spiders, but its snakes for some reason that still give me the heeby jeebies!
The harmless ones are more scared of you (for good reason) than you are of it (for no good reason). It’s the rattlers that give them a bad name.
Thank you for not dispatching the snake, Kyla
There is too much senseless violence in the world already.
