Most of the time Kaci has her tongue hanging out of her mouth a bit. She does it when she walks around. She does it when she’s awake.
She does it when she sleeps.
She probably does it when she eats but I don’t investigate that because I’m too busy eating myself-we get fed together. Kaci does have a VERY long tongue. It’s possible that because of her mixed heritage, her tongue is longer than her mouth. So I asked her, “Do you do that because your tongue is long or do you do that on purpose?”. She responded, “Do what? … I do that?”.
Ask a silly dog and you get a silly answer.

Sometimes she is hard to understand. Fortunately, she keeps repeating and repeating and repeating what she barks while getting progressively louder.
She is a great candidate for AC’s tongue contest and maybe Kaci can touch her ellbow with her tongue too? That’s a trick NO biped can do (another evidence that dogs are the better humans)

We’re still here and part of your fan club! Seth would like to say that his tongue also sticks out. Sleeping, awake, anytime. We think it’s because of the overbite. It doesn’t bother him in the least. He can scarf down food faster than anydog I’ve ever met. And yep, he’s a licker, too. So, while we think Kaci is a cutie, you’re still our Numero Uno from Arizona!
