It’s monsoon season and we’ve had a little rain. We have our visitor, Kharma, who makes her annual appearance.
We took her out of the pool and left her in the bird bath. Soon she was in neither and gone again. We don’t know if it’s the rain that brings her out or she wants to appreciate the cactus flowers.
Whatever the reason it’s good to see her again. Yes indeed.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
She refused to tell where she’s been or what she’s been doing. We suspect that she’s a tramp.
It’s great that Kharma is back, seems amphibians are more faithful than some humans :o) your cacti are beautiful, no wonder that my mom tried to eat them lol
You mom can eat some of ours-the stems, not the flowers.
Well I guess that rain water is filling up your well. Lee’s grandmother had well water. They say it is better for you because you pick up your minerals that way.
Now Kharma knows when to appear to see the beauty of the cactus blooming.
Sweet William The Scot
Unfortunately, we run the drinking water through the reverse osmosis system and that takes out most of the minerals. Why? It removes the natural arsenic in the well water.
Arsenic! Number 33 Why that is a killer but it can preserve you for eternity. When Lincoln was assassinated, he was embalmed and went on public display for nearly a month!! Arsenic was used. When Lincoln was exhumed in 1901, he was perfectly preserved. Drinking you water straight can preserve you.
Don’t you hate people that have almost perfect recall.
SWTS
I forget.
Jealous of the beautiful cactus flowers, not of the rain. It has been torrential here for days. Our flowers are boring in comparison to your flowers.
It only rains here at twilight in the summer. I think you could live with 30 minutes of rain.
Beautiful flowers – Penny is currently in an “eat all the flowers” stage so it’s good we don’t live near any cacti.
She’d have thorns over and in her-not good.
Hey Lookie there!!! What’s up Kharma?! She looks good enough to lick! Butts, I hear they don’t taste that good, so maybe I’ll pass…
Your blooms are FABulous!!! Do they have fragrance?? Or, don’t you wants to get your snooter close enough to sniff? ☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
The bees love them-the white ones. Bees don’t do red. I value my snooter so I don’t even try.
I love your snooter. And you know where my snooter’d be if I were in your neighborhood. Guess I should’ve censored that. woops!
Lovely that she is back. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
She’s gone-hopefully we’ll see her later in the week or next year.
We were just thinking about Karma the other day. Glad s/he’s back for a visit. Your cactus flowers are gorgeous.
I think that is what brings her back.
I’m told the legs taste like chicken.
You must have heard that from a poodle.
Dat are cool, I ain’t got no froggies or toads round here.
Then they don’t call you Whitley with Warts!
Guess she likes to do whatever her heart desires. Luckily you got to see her.

And I thought we Scotties were independent…
How many years has she been stopping by to smell the cactus flowers?
Aroo to you,
Sully
About four. I don’t know if that’s old for an amphibian.
Beautiful cactus flowers. I have a frog dat I see when I go for my last walk of da night. I keep my distance from it. I think it smells bad. I much prefer to chase da evening bunny.

There’s something to be said for a real challange.
Kharma is looking pleasantly plump & healthy – it’s always good to see her.
Wally & Sammy
She’s also very secretive about her whereabouts when we don’t see her.
Mama’s first Scottie “Agi” bit the leg off of their resident frog years ago. But apparently according to Chinese culture a 3-legged frog brings Good Luck – not sure the frog would’ve seen it that way???? Mama was worried the frog would only swim in circles …..
I did the tail of a lizard once. I think it grows back.
Wow, Kharma has grown! I think she comes back because she knows what wonderful peeps and pups live there.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
I think she comes back for the food. Well, maybe not. I don’t think she’s into lizards.
Are you sure that’s not Kharma’s grandkids ???
I’m not sure of anything when it comes to amphibians.
So cool that he’s back
And now gone again.
