You may remember the story of Diane and Sadie. Diane has been down after her loss of Sadie. Yesterday, we got some good news. Diane loves Dobermans and tried to get a dog from Doberman rescue, but wasn’t successful. She found a litter in San Jose, California and picked up her new pup yesterday.
They named her Jette (pronounced like “jet” as in jet plane). Considering that the dog was in the cargo hold for a spell on weather delay for take off, they should have named her “Tarmac”.
Good one, Kismet!
And Diane is very happy but is relearning about the activity level of a pup.
I hope this one lives a good long life and not just five years old. Good news indeed.
Have a terrific day. ☺
I’m still concerned about LB.
Look forward to hearing more…I’m all ears.
No Max, you’re mostly fluffy fur.
Oh the headgear! Those ears are going to stand upright and be sharp as tacks.
Sweet William The Scot
Maybe it would work on my brain?
Just maybe the cutie puptootie can got some good radio signals on the headgear.
We don’t have cable or satellite just rabbit ears and those darn things don’t work.

I’ll send you Kyla’s old tinfoil hat.
I have always had a fear of Dobermans. I finally met one that did not have his ears cropped and did not know the breed at that point. It made a difference in my feelings. Doberman prejudice was not present. The ears made the difference. Thank all of you guys for the great Sophie comments on the obedience story. It was a hoot as usual.
Prejudging a breed is bad. There was a lady in Home Depot who was afraid of Kyla because all Scotties were “mean little dogs”.
I love the headgear comment. Jette is going to have a lovely life. I went on a plane, too. My mom thinks that’s why I love to fly around the house.
oxox
Daisy
You, too? I love flying around the house.
Glad Di has found a new friend.
Dogs don’t have cropped ears here, we thought Jette was listening to music here.
Somebody cropped my ears ALL the way off.
Yay for good news! Now, if only we can convince Scottie Dad to let us add a pup or two to our clan and continue this trend of good news…Much love, The Scottie Mom.
Things were down for a while-it’s time to be upbeat. Ummmm, Scottie Dad, about those pups….
Our boy Todd says that if she were a Scottie, she wouldn’t need that headgear! 🙂
Well, Kyla would have agreed with Todd (big surprise). Nevertheless, every species and breed needs peep who watch out for them.
She’s a cutie.
Aroo to you,
Sully
and so is Diane!
OMD!!! From HERE??!! You should have told me, I would have gone to the Aireport and sent them off! Or, at least kept Jette company on the Tarmac! The bestest thingies come from San Jose!! BOL!!!!! Oh man….i crack myself up…☺
Anyhu, if Diane needs extra paper towels, Ma just went to Costco!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
You crack yourself up? That’s better than the plane saying so!
So happy for them! She looks like a very pretty and sweet girl. Btw Kismet, every time I put an empty cardboard thing from a 12 pack of soda into the recycling, I think of how you’d love to have it.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Ar least you recycle them. Not to worry, I have a couple of businesses who go through a lot that are looking out for me. Nothing says recycling like shredding the things to pieces.
Dat are great!
Jette has some work to do and I think she’s up to it.
Crikey …… I thought the head gear was so she could watch movies on the plane. I didn’t know they still allowed ear cropping to be done. It’s been banned here for 87 million years. Tail docking too!! You can’t do that here either. She’s one real cute little sheila, aye?? She’ll soon worm her way into Dianne’s heart.
We here, at Casa Kyla, had nothing to do with that. We’re just hoping that the 2 of them bond and have a happy life together. I don’t think Diane had a choice-the deed was done before she got there.
Aw, Jett is adorable, looking forward to hearing updates on how Jett and Diane get on. Will you let us know please Kismet?
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
I will.
Tarmac BOL funny. Have a serene and easy Sunday.
Best wishes Molly
The Sunday that’s planned here will be neither.
Oh she’s so cute with her antenna! She’s got that “mischevious look” about her – I do think Tarmac would have been a more appropriate name though…….haha
Hugs, Sammy
That name would be unique!
I’m so glad that Diane decided to get a new pup. It’s not good to be alone with all that dark clouds and the worries and the grief. An empty house is the worst. Jette is beautiful! Is it still allowed in the US to dock the ears?
I gather it is. Mine were docked severely. This household was never had a docked dog.
So pleased Dee got the new pup and she’z gorgeouz. Have pozted Kismet to stop you squawking in my ear’z Bawahwhahhwhahhaha. It’z good to bee’z back and youz noze we have mizzed you all xxoxxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
I flew down to Glendale, saw the roof open and popped in for the Super Bowl.
Adorably sweet. 🙂
Diane needed it. I’m happy for her.
Hey, happy days for both, probaly good he had to ride in the cargo bay, otherwise they might have though an alien was on borad, hes a cutie!
The Mad Scots
What Jette needs to complete the outfit is Kyla’s old tin foil hat.
Written from the Super Bowl.
So very happy for Diane and Jette! Yeah!!!!!
