It’s yellow time here when all the plants seem to have yellow flowers-even the weeds on the road. The cactus is non-conforming (surprise).
All those yellow bushes look like they could come from Australia, like our national flower, the Wattle.
Most of them are palo verde trees. Palo Verde in Spanish is Green Skin and they do have green bark.
Where’s the roadrunner? That’s roadrunner territory right there.
Acme came out with a new death ray and the roadrunner is away, learning how to use it.
The desert in bloom…gorgeous. Love those spectacular cactus.
A few varieties are yet to bloom such as the hedgehog which has a purple flower.
Happy Easter to you all. May the day bring lots of treats and fun. Best wishes Molly
It will be fun with a lot of treats.

Seems like the world is awakening and popping blooms in happiness. TY4BAF Sweet William The Scot
The cacti know that it’s a holiday.

It’ll be gone soon and we’ll be back to normal until later this month when the hedgehog cactus blooms and May when the tall saguaros do their thing.
