Here’s a video from October, 2012 just after Kenzie crossed the bridge. It’s of Kaci in the rescue foster home.
Kaci practically screamed “ADOPT ME” so the peeps did. We didn’t put it on a Throwback Thursday post because we’d never throw her back.

I like the way Kaci kept trying to nudge the other dog (golden retriever mix?) out of the way so that you could focus better on her!
It was a competition to get adopted quickly.
See how smart uz woffie’z are xxoxxx
This bird will concede that.
Oh, I can hear her loud and clear!! She is a girl who makes things happen.

To make the right things happen, you have to point her in the right direction.
Yep, that’s what she was saying too and it worked. Good for you. And we never throw them back.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your peeps. 🙂
The peeps were wondering about Kali at first, but pointed in the right direction now she is wonderful.
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
Arizona, with you peeps and that bird
Take me home, where I belong.
Yep her tail was singing that song.
Sweet William The Scot
Kyla taught her that. Yes, Kyla made the trip to California’s Orange County also. The peeps had to make certain that Kyla approved and would get along with her. They were fine.
Kyla would have been 13 today-happy birthday-we all miss you.
I remember Kyla’s birthday was right after my Lee’s birthday. We were going to send you a few words in an e-mail tonight. But since you mentioned Kyla, we have to say not knowing her up close and personal we have missed her like she was ours. You brought her personality to life and our hearts are sad she has gone and we are sad for we know how much you miss her.

We know you do. She was unique-in a wonderful way.
What a sweetie. No wonder it was love at first sight.
It certainly made us decide to drive to Southern California on Friday and return on Saturday. We knew we wouldn’t return empty handed.
She was really making sure the camera stayed on her. Good job Kaci, I liked your tactics.
Aroo to you,
Sully
She thinks she gets paid in treats by the camera time she hogs.
The guys enjoyed your video. Sophie said that they made the right decision.
I need a psychiatrist. I agreed with Sophie on something.
What a cutie pie.
Well, she’s ½ Westie (we believe). She has a Westie coat.
I LOVE THIS!!! It beats anything that is on TV!! 🙂
And there’s no commercials or (what we’ll soon be suffering) political ads.
OMD, that was FABulous! She sure knew how to work the peeps! Nudging the other doggies outta the way, so she could gets more camera time!! BRILLIANT! My kinda gurl! And, really, how could you resist THAT face???
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
I don’t know how anyone could resist her because we certainly didn’t.
Wait a minute…how did I not know Kaci was from ‘the OC’?!! I live there now. Tell her she’s a lot happier not to have to deal with the crazies and traffic here!! We’re sure you were happy to go back home! We crack up at people calling it ‘the OC’ like the TV show. Then people laugh at us when we talk about ‘the 5’ or ‘the 405’.

And to think that I thought you referred to them as “the San Diego freeway” because of where they went instead of the numbers. Kaci came home on “the ten”.
the star of the show has to be the center piece , well done Kaci, you are a star :o)
ThankyouweimananerThankyouweimananerThankyouweimananerThankyouweimananerThankyouweimananerm
you made your desires clear, that’s for sure.
There are times when Kaci isn’t bashful about that.
Kismet, thank you so much for sharing this clip. You can feel the emotional connection. What a cutie pie, and what smart Hoomans. You have a very loving home for sure.
Except when the dogs get treats and I get nothing-I can get vocal about it.
Hee, hee, does her tail ever stop wagging? Too cute.
The best is when Kaci and Kali look out the window and their tails are in sync.
No way could our Mom not bring her home too. We would have loved having a little sister but know she is happiest with you!
She’s trained us all and she doesn’t want to educate new peeps and pups.
AWWWWWW… it’s so cute how the two of them have exactly the same actions, before she decided to run up to you. 🙂
