I didn’t come home empty clawed from Speedy’s Pirate Party (in case you were there and didn’t recognize me, I was the parrot with a peep on my shoulder). I won a door prize. Speedy picked my name out from the entrants. I must confess, I cheated. A little eau de lettuce sprinkled on my entry sure helped a lot.
Here’s what I won.
First, there’s a pupbrella
Get away from that umbrella, Kali. Can’t you see that it’s mine because there’s a bird on it?
Then there’s an ASPCA blanket for when I get cold (that’s about a week in January here in Arizona)
I think this is mine also. It’s the color of my beak.
And then there’s the Pet emergency first aid kit that I hope we never have to use
