I’ve been abused and that burd won’t listen to my complaining so I’m going to have to go public. I was just sitting around, being myself, when the peeps put me in the car and took me to the dogtor. It was horrible, first a shot and then when I woke up, my mouth was hurting. The peeps call it “dental cleaning” and I call it torture.
Then after a few days, I went back into the car and it was to the fur thief. Look at me now, I’m sooooo naked
Kismet told me to quit my bitching and show the world, so I am. It’s also a public service because it’s a warning to other dogs-don’t go in that car. What’s worse is that the burd is mocking me because she has no teeth and no fur.
I think I’ll take the rest of my life off.

Poor Kaci. I never know when I have to go to the dogter or have my bath — mum walks me to both places. Also, Krista (mum’s aide) brushes me whenever she comes — twice a week. My sympathies are with you
It’s hard for us to walk to get somewhere. It’s 8 miles to a gas station, 12 miles to a food store and the vet and groomer are NO WAY.
We think your pawrents should be publicly SHAMED for treating their sweet little puppy like that!
That’s why I posted it. I also wanted to shut that burd up but it didn’t work. Now Kismet is taunting me “You have to go to the dentist–you have to go to the groomer–I don’t–ya nyaa da nyaa nyaa”.

Wow, that’s such horrible treatment…TWICE! Dogtor and de-fur. I think your peeps owe you some big-time treats and a new toy. That’s the least they can do after this. I do have to bark that you look fabulous anyway, so maybe that’s a little bit worth it. I think the burd should be careful…I bet Kismet tastes just like chicken. BOL ahem.

Kismet is one of those folks who has a vast trove of knowledge…..I like to be groomed, sorry it’s such an ordeal for you. I think you look very nice. As for the tooth stuff, I haven’t had to do that yet. But I bet Mama will get the tooth consoler to visit afterwards.
I remember Kyla had to do it and the vet insisted that seniors do a test to see if they can tolerate anesthesia. Tolerate it, I think not, I don’t want it.

Sidney already follows your advice about going in the car. He does not like it and complains the whole way. He had his teeth cleaned last year and was groggy for 2 days. I do the fur thievery.

Yeah, Ma gives me free truck rides, so I never knows whether it’s to the vetties or the park…she’s sneaky that way…now, at least your peeps take you to a pawfessional groomer, and don’t do it themselves…I try and run when I see the clippers come out!!! AND, pull my ears back so they don’t get cut off! Count your lucky stars gurl! You could have my Ma for your groomer!!! Yikes.

Butt having barked that, we have to admit that a fur cut can sometimes be welcomed, especially if it is hot – we’ve been having a heatwave here in Johannesburg. We hope there were some frozen green beans to help soothe your sore mouth and a few extra for the fur cut humiliation.
