We’re supposed to honor Forrest who recently went to the bridge by giving him a tail wagging good bye today. It ain’t gonna happen. I can’t wag my tail. Parrots just cannot do that.
However, I may be able to do it by proxy. Since I’m very blue, I invoke the Blues Brothers:
to wagg a tail feather is great… and you are the bestest Blue(s) Brother(Sister) ever…
I’m the only Blues Sibling with an orange beak so you’ll always know it’s me.
Kismet my friend, it’s the thought that counts – those tailfeathers would wave if they could but a purrrfectly good substitute is The Blues Brothers!!! Thanks for pawticipating in Forrest’s tribute…………you’re the best burd I know!
Love and Hugs, Sammy
I suspect that I’m the only bird you know.
CRIKEY Kismet … That was a great tribute, mate! I don’t wag my tail much. Unlike you I can but I just don’t. I liked the way you got round the problem. I bet Forrest and his family do too. I hope they like mine!
Forrest’s family probably likes it but we all hate the circumstances.
What a great tribute. Whee don’t have a tail to wag so whee waved to Forrest over the rainbow bridge
xxxx
I have the tail, I just can’t wag it.
You had me fooled Kismet. I should have known that you would come up with something awesome!
I wish that it was for something happy.
You are a true friend to invoke Jake and Elwood!
They said it best.
It’s sad about Forrest indeed. No need to wag with that video. You have everything covered very nicely.
Have a terrific day. βΊ
In the picture of me, I don’t have any clothes on. I have everything uncovered.
That is a PAWFECT way to do this, Kismet. We are SURE that Forrest loves it.
You mean that this post is going to the bridge also?
Well done Kismet! You are a loving and clever friend! I’ll wag my nub! And Max has a great big tail that gets in everyone’s way. He’ll wag too.
Forrest will like it.
I can’t wag mine either, but I posted today anyway. I knew you’d figure something out!
You can steal it if you want.
Do the Bird and shake those tail feathers! I bet Forrest is looking down with a silly grin for you Kismet.
Sweet William The Scot
I can do the bird and the Bird-a-loo. The Swim is a challenge.
I think you nailed it, Kismet.
Aroo to you,
Sully
I had to improvise on the fly as it were.
what a great tribute.
stella rose
Thank you.
This was beyond clever and oh so perfect!!!!!!! Love it! Ours is over at our cat’s blog today because a certain Sheltie wasn’t very cooperative! catchatwithcarenandcody
Shame on him. It was for a good cause and he needs to get with the program.
Thats the best way to do it Kismet,xx Speedy
Yeah, I can’t get hurt that way. Forrest wouldn’t want that.
Way to Go, Kismet. No wonder you’re the brains of that outfit!
Judging from the others around here, that’s not saying much.
We figured that you would enlist one of your sisters to do the wagging. Your solution is brilliant.
Sisters? No, they’re the Blues Brothers. Oh, you meant Kaci and Kali. They’re looking for lizards in all the rock places.
Pawsome job there BirdBrain.
I have no idea why you went to spam. Anyway, thank you from the bottom my feathery tailfeathers.
Kismet that is one purrfect way to shake your tail feather!!!! Fantastic tribute post!
I did have a handicap in this department. Good thing that burd brains are underrated.
Kismet if you ain’t got it …flaunt it more π Forrest would be super impressed i think..he was quite happy to watch birds here trying to shake their asses on his verandah… i for one thank you for your ingenuity..why i am always more impressed by anipals than peeps π thanks mate for being a great sport and for paying tribute to our much missed pooch..i am off to dance now..have an earworm π Loves Fozziemum xxxx
Peeps? That’s why I rule the roost here.
Hahhahahha π
We are so heartbroken for Fozziemum. π
Having been through it, I don’ wish that on anyone.
True dat.
Well, Kismet, it’s the thought that counts!
We (and our human) thank you for visiting us and your warm kind
words on the sudden passing of our 19-year-old Tanya.
Purrs, headbutts and hugs.
Our best to you. We still have “Kyla moments” and it has been almost a year and Β½.
