Kismet doesn’t care, but Kali and I do. We don’t have tree rats but we do have “ground squirrels”. You can’t have tree rats without big trees but we have plenty of ground for these to use. We try to scare them away through the window, but the peeps won’t let us at them. The varmint is camouflaged but in the center of the picture (you can biggify it if you don’t see it). What do you think?
Do they taste like chicken? Just asking.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
I don’t know. The peeps won’t let us at them.
I see the little booger…….”hiding in plain sight” I’d say. I think he knows none of you can get him!
Hugs, Sammy
He’s got that smirk on his face.
My parents have them too. They just flip us all off and they dash about unscathed since none of us is quick enough to even try to catch them. They are little thieves constantly stealing the bird seed. 😉
Believe me I know. Kismet could starve.
SQUAAAAAAAAAWK??????
He’s got that smirk on hos face.
OMD a Ground Squirrel… or as we sometimes call there East of the Mrs.Sippie River…CHIPMUNKS…
THEY are evil Cussins of Squirrels… and we HATE THEM TOO…
Cussin Sarge Mashes them every chance he gets… We are proud of him fur that.
SORRY YOU didn’t get to GRIND a GROUNDIE.
Does Sarge have to get permission from his peeps?
I got lucky and went three rounds with a squirrel and I came away with his tail. Yep I still seem him in the hood three years later and I know him by sight ~ we call him Stumpy!
Sweet William The Scot
A real pain in the patootie, you were.
I did it for therapeutic and cosmetic reasons.
Sugar Billy
I see the little pesk!!! I bet y’all bark your fool heads off at them. I think your peeps need to open the door and let y’alls chase instinct take over. My money is on you two.
Aroo to you,
Sully
They’re afraid that we’ll chase them into the road and we’ll be the goners.
Tree rat, ground rat….it’s an invader….now BARK and SQUAWK at it!
We do, but it from indoors. Not very effective.
It looks like a squirrel with a docked tail. It is too hot to be chasing after vermin. Enjoy them from inside.
It got up to 120F this weekend. Even if the weather is perfect, we aren’t allowed to go get them.
Oh gurls….SO not fair! I thinks your peeps need to build some kind of fence so you can chase those little buggers to your hearts content!!!! AND have yourselves a little furry-tail tartar! I’ll be overs to start to take dimensions, and we can gets Easy to gather wood from his hazelnut tree, it’ll be done in NO time!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Easy would be great. He would have to leave his staff at home. Maybe he’s needed there to keep the staff out of trouble.
Crikey ….. your peeps won’t let you at ’em??? What’s with that?? We don’t have those blokes here but I’d give ’em hurry up if we did.
You don’t have them there because your dogs chased them away from there to here.
You won’t believe what we saw hanging off of our bird feeder over the weekend. And it’s not a tree rat….but maybe it is.
That sounds like a post in the making.
Harlow always keeps an eagle eye out for those and yes, her da Momma doesn’t let her out either to dispatch the critters!
Monty, Harlow and Ramble
It’s not fair. Getting them is what we do.
I think animals like this exist just to get pets heart rate up. My cats go crazy with the squirrels around my house.
I don’t blame those cats at all.
Id say Get it!!!
Wags
Oreo
If only I could walk through the closed front door.
We have those here too. They are all over the golf course. So tame they will take food out of your hand. But in reality they are just rats with good PR.
And good manners.
Yes most of the time. LOL.
Hola ~ Kismet for a bird you have been awful quiet of late.
Sugar Billy
SQUAAAAWK! You’re right.
I think squirrels are cuter than rats… we have more rats here. The squirrels keep to inside the park,
