The peeps had 2 places to go. The first appointment finished very early and they already built in extra time in between the two in case the first one went longer than expected. So they had time to kill.They did what any of us pet bloggers would do, they went to PetSmart. It wasn’t just any PetSmart, but the one that is a 2 minute walk from PetSmart’s corporate headquarters. This is where they adopted Kali in 2014. Of course, they had to inspect the adoptables. They got a shock.
Here is Kaci who replaced Kenzie in 2012 and was a rescue.

The peeps are going to keep an eye on Cocoa to make certain that she finds a home and if she doesn’t the peeps will make certain that she does.

Amazing! Cocoa is just a bit tinier than Kaci but I think she’s still growing.
We always look at our PetSmart but they only seem to have really big doggies. Now they had a beautiful calico kitty last Sunday but darn they wanted $80. We can go to the SPCA and on certain days they are giving cats away. Lee and I keep sending them on the Scooter Mobile to get snipped.

Probably not because there is about a five year age difference. We believe that both are Westie-Chihuahua crosses. It’s also a “designer dog” called a “Chestie”.

There are reasons (nothing to do with her) that we didn’t grab her then.
I admire your restraint! My heart usually goes out to them and I jump into action, even though our home has plenty of pets. I hope that this sweet little dog gets a home somewhere, with another family or with you.
We’re prepared to foster her if necessary.
