My dogs love to chew on parrot feathers -after they’ve been molted. None of them are brave bough to touch the feathers while they are still on the bird!
Kismet— I just arrived in Phoenix to speak at a conference. I’d love to meet you and/or your mistress while I’m here for a spot or tea. Email me if you’re interested! Kdkhadacek@pobox.com
Years ago, Drew came upon a feather on one of our walks. She sniffed it and literally jumped straight up in the air. That was the first and last time that she smelled a feather.
OMD, I do that to Ma’s burdie’s feathers too! Haven’t gotten close enough to the cage to try a taste though….heheee just kiddin’! I would NEVER! ☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
pees: Ma keeps the burdies gated off from me. sigh.
You must smell pretty good, Kismet. Then again, maybe she just wants to carry a piece of you with her all day.
If she does it for the smell, I can give her all the parrot poop she can handle.
💩 Dogs love that stuff! There must be loads of nutrients in it. *Sigh*
So are you laying golden eggs now, Kissie?
Nope-still the infertile ones (hint to peeps, I need a male). I set a new personal best with five this spring.
Wow! I mean, Ow!
Are you messing with Kismet? Probably not a wise plan.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. ♥
You got that right-SQUAAAAWK.
Uhoh……..this is definitely a bad sign……Kismet keep that cage door locked!
Hugs, Teddy
And I can’t swing on my swing so hard that it knocks the cage to the ground.
No – take it easy – DANGER DANGER DANGER!
Curmudgeon are known to have tough meat!
Sweet William The Scot
How would you know?
An over aged Balut.
Sugar Billy
Maybe she’s trying to make a boa.

That’s the way it is here. I want to keep it that way.
Once they get that first taste….just like a great white only in this case, black.
But still “great”, right?

It’s what terriers do.
ooooh that would be a cat-astrophe… even when a dog is involved…
I don’t want any part of being canine cuisine or feline food.
Kali—stuff sticks to our furs, too. And we are innocent. So we know you aren’t thinking any naughty thoughts.
