Just some minor damage to property. The thing that was hurt the most was Kaci and Kali’s desire to go outside and experience this.

Now when we was just a kid we’d lay about in cornfields and look up at the clouds and see what the shapes looked liked. So, looking at those clouds, we saw some very, very interesting things. How come you didn’t do a fly about and see what you could see? Afeared of losing a feather or two, mmm? It sounds a bit scary. I grew up in “tornado alley” and I’m not a fan! I’m so relieved you and your peeps at ok.
We get something like this once a decade-always in mid to late September.

We found out today that the tornado was about 1/3 of a mile away. We also found it ripped window screens out.
That is too close for comfort. Yikes!

That was one SCARY cloud. We think the commentary was spot on, too. BOL! Glad you didn’t get the full force of it.
