About 18 years ago the peeps planted a cute little cactus behind the pool. They made sure it was fertilized when it was hungry and watered it when it was thirsty. It grew and is now giving the peeps the bird and I ought to know about birds. That’s gratitude for you.
That’s quite the cactus, Kismet. Perhaps it’s just trying to limit shade on the pool area. 🌵
NO, it’s birding us.
You crack me up, Kistmet. I do love you though.
Have a fabulous day day. ♥
Please don’t talk about cracks to an egg layer.
That thing is TALL! Too bad it’s not grateful for all the care it’s received but you can’t trust a cactus can ya.
You can say that but I can’t because I’d be deluged with thorns.
Well you fertilized it!
Sweet William The Scot
It should be thanking us instead of flipping us off.
Must be pretty strong to be so tall and slender and withstand the winds. I thought you only landscaped with jumping cholla but I guess I was mistaken.
We removed all of that. If you’ve ever encountered that in the wrong way, you’ll know why.
That looks like an oasis in a desert, even if the cactus is “flipping the bird.” Better be careful, Kissie. XOX Xena and Lucy
Yeah, I would NOT perch on it because it has a bad attitude.
Great social commenting.
There are some to whom we’d like to send thoase sentiments (no you).
rude. just rude.
After all the peeps did for it, it’s an insult to say the least.
Where on earth did it learn that ‘move’!?!
Its like a cactus tower by the way! Actually amazing! Except for well, you know…tee-hee!
I have no idea. Certainly nobody here would do that. Must be the neighbors.
BOL! That is one rude plant!
It is skating on thin ice.
it looks great… and now it is 18 and an adult cactus… is there a party ?
Who needs and excuse for a party?
A truly ungrateful and rude cactus!
I’d call it a persona non grata except it isn’t a person.
