Today, my friend Jazzi from Illinois crossed to the last taco stand. She was only 8½ and I certainly didn’t expect it. When I couldn’t find a roll of special Scottie duck tape to use for my Scottiemobile licence plate mailing, Jazzi just sent me a roll. What a friend. I’m shocked because it was unexpected, she was so young. Her family was smart-they even have a human pup named “Kyla”. I’m gonna miss her. Please stop by and honor Jazzi with a comment. http://jazzis-world.blogspot.com/
Jazzi’s big favorite was tacos. October 4-taco day should be Jazzi Memorial Taco Day. Are you listening, TPTB?
Here’s Jazzi earlier today. She made the rest of us happier. Go to the great beyond knowing you were loved here.
Much love to Jazzi on her next journey! Ku’s Mama http://haikubyku.com
I’m very upset. My best to you.
Thank you. I am in total shock also, She was fine yesterday until late afternoon. I did what was best and she knew it was her time, you could see it in her eyes, she was so weak. My heart aches and I’m pretty devastated right now.
I am still going to host National Taco day Oct 4th, Jazzi would have wanted that!!
Diana
Of course she would have wanted it. It should be named after her forever. I’m gonna really miss her.
i just can’t stand this. it’s too much. first your toe, then your growth, now jazzi. she was one of my first blog friends.
Stuart, you were my first and Jazzi my third. The second was Daisy who also went this year.
So sad. I’m gonna miss Jazzi a lot.
She was the original true taco terrier.
Such terribly sad news… lots of leaky eyes ’round here…
Here also. After I followed Stuart, then Daisy, Jazzi was next.
I was in such shock to hear this. I can’t even imagine Blogville without our taco diva.
We should most definitely rename Taco Day, Jazzi’s Memorial Taco Day ~ anything else would be unthinkable.
Lots of kleenex wontons around Blogville tonight….
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Jazzi was a kindred spirit-she LOVED food also.
Oh no, oh no, she looks like such a sweetie pie. So sad.

Jazzi was a happy dog-it was so unexpected (at least by me).
Never knew Jazzi but we’ll miss her. Me ke aloha pumehana, me ka `oia`i`o.
Yes she was very happy and she loved the tacos, really really a lot. She would be so honored to have jazzis national taco day. Im sure she’s smiling bout that
Diana
Don’t worry there’s tears round here. This was so unexpected
Diana
You would have liked her, Max.
It has shaken us. So sad…..
Not even 9 and very unexpected. The peeps must be devastated.
I don’t like death 😦
I’m with you.
It’s hard for me to find words, I can only share my tears with you and Jazzi’s family. I agree with you for the taco-day, that’s a great idea to honor a wonderful Scottie-Lady.
Then let’s just do it-it’s now Jazzi’s day.
yes, i will mark it my pawleneders, this day belongs to Jazzi
We are so sad for you and for her family. We send virtual hugs. Run free and fast over the rainbow bridge sweet one.
Best wishes Molly
Amen.
We were very sad to learn of her passing this morning. Rest in peace, sweet Jazzi.

These things are unfair.
So much sadness this week with our precious babies leaving. I went over and left a comment as requested.
Have a woof woof day. 🙂
Thank you. Jazzi’s family will appreciate it and they are wonderful.
So sad to hear about Jazzi. Does Sweet William know – he has nothing up on his blog? DId anyone let him know – he must be so sad to lose his girl.
JO
I’m pretty certain SWTS knows, he’s right on top of things. He’s probably too upset to bark.
No I found out the same way probably every dog did, by reading the post. I was not on top of the news.
SWTS
We are in tears.
Sweet William
We are also. I knew you’d be devastated also.
So you recognized Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin in the music. You are probably familiar with US musical Kismet where the bird got her name?
We felt like hanging out a sign on our blog Gone Fishing we feel terribly sad.
SWTS
Yes and yes. We’re not ourselves today either.
I am so sorry for the passing of your friend. You are so lucky to have known her.
October 4, Taco Day, will be remembered in her honor.
Such a spunky feisty little lovable girl.
She still is 🙂
It is so sad to lose another Scottie. Do you know what happened? In the picture that you posted, she looks very sad. Our sympathy.
It’s explained in her post and best read in the family’s own words.

We read it. So sad.
We will miss Jazzi very much.
Wally & Sammy
Me too. I was born in Mexico and she was Mexican at heart.
WE are Suffering the Broken Hearted feelings here also. We just ADORED Jazzi.
WE AGREE that TACO DAY should be done this time FOR JAZZI !!!
I’m fond of tacos myself. Why just this time? Why not every October 4?
Reblogged this on Sparhawk Scotties and commented:
This is too sad for words ….
It is. It makes me forget about my own problems.

Edgar and his mum
She was the 3rd friend I had. It seems like everybody says something similar because it’s true.
