Earlier this month, we lost a friend. Whitely Westie was a feisty, opinionated terrier and we miss her. Today is to honor her.
Now, you know that nobody dresses up this bird. I have something Whitley will like, it’s Kenzie (RIP Oct 2012) in a bandanna.
Just to show my love for Whitley, I did wear my blue tuxedo with orange trimmings.
Kismet you look mighty fine in your tux…….I know Whitley is loving it!
Hugs, Sammy
When it came to clothes, Whitley couldn’t have enough.
Her Momma knew her way around a sewing machine for sure……
Oh that was such a nice idea to ask Kenzie for modeling a bandana for Whitley… and your tuxedo is anyway perfect… with the orange trimmings it is the best color of the world!
I knew we shouldn’t make a fashion faux pas when honoring Whitely.
yes… sadly the mama ignored that… so the fashion police should arrest her :o)
And we can see that you preened all your Feathers, too. VERY NICE.
Although I do feel kind of naked today.
I think that is just marvelous! DakotasDen
And I dressed in UCLA blue for Whitley.
Kenzie looks adorable for Whitley. You take the cake, though! Very Fred Astaire-ish with your “tails”. Just need a top hat. Whitley loves all of it we are sure. Duffy has his Thundershirt on today. I will put a scarf on Andy, although it may not stay on long.
Sounds like bad weather coming.
you have the best tux Kismet,xx Speedy
I have to clean it every day-it’s a lot of work.
but oh so beautiful dear friend,xx Speedy
Kenzie was beautiful and you look excellent in your Tux!
I also am the “devil with the blue dress on”.
Kismet, you do have a tender heart! Can’t fool me. Skyler
I make certain I have a tender heart by putting Adolph’s on my bird seed.
We did not know Whitely but know all too well the pain of losing a fur-kid. Our thoughts are with him and his fur-mily. Sam can’t wear clothes in his personal prison but I’ll see if he’ll don a cap for Whitely when we get home later this week.
Sam would have loved Whitley. Why won’t they let him wear clothes there? Sam just needs to tell them that he identifies as Imelda Marcos and has a genuine need for clothes.
Only prison garb allowed till we ‘bail’ him out.
Whitley is missed as is Kenzie. Kismet your blue fits the Bluebells of Texas perfect for the Texas girl.
Sweet William The Scot
And to think I was having the Whitley blues.
Yeah, we don’t dress up either….lol! You sure have shown that box in your open air mansion who’s boss!
They keep changing it and I have to keep manufacturing a new open space house.
Crikey Kismet …. you wore your Tux for Whitley??? AND you cleaned it???? Good for you. Nice colour choice!!!!!
It was in my genes.
The Scotties agree with you about dressing up.
Being black and white, they have black tie and white tails. It’s not easy being formal while blue.
You look super pawesome in your tux!!
xoxo,
Matt & Matilda
As Whitley would have said, “Fanks”.
Well, ya is wearing UCLA blue. Even if da trimmings are orange and not gold.
Cute pic of Kenzie in da bandana! Fanks for dressing up for Whitley!
I miss messing with Whitley every day.
oh, Kenzie sure could ROCK a bandana!!!! Butts, I thinks your Tux is just the thingie to honor our furiend! I thinks Whitley would love it!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
She better like it or when I get to the bridge, I’m taking her pool ball away.
Thanks fur dressin’ up fur Whitley! Kenzie looks adorabull in dat bandanner! And you is dressed in my Momma’s favorite shade of blue!! Good job!
It’s the least I can do for my friend.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays because of Kenzie. So adorable.
Have a terrific day Kismet. You’re mighty handsome too. 🙂
I guess I’ll just have to remain an afterthought.
Miss Whitley. Miss Kenzie. Miss Kyla. And so many others. It’s just too much.
That as MR. Kenzie but I agree with you-too much and that includes Mr Stu.
God help me. I did that once years ago. Remember? Called him a dudette, when he, of course, was a DUDE. Hope he’s laughing about it now.
You’re forgiven, I know that there was no disrespect or malice intended. We all love you.
Such a lovely tribute and beautiful photos. I am sorry for your loss.
