Even though it is September, it is still 102F 39C here. Kaci and Kali love that the wildlife (lizards, mice, snakes, and more) comes to the porch to chill. It’s their summer viewing.

What a smart bunny that understands that “dogs behind glass” can’t hurt them. Kaci and Kali do seem to be enjoying the view, though. Ours would be barking their fool heads off.
They already did that. They’re smart enough to realize that it worn’t work.
Awww, so adorable. I’m linking this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a woof woof day you two. My best to your wonderful mom. ☺
Thanks. Kaci and Kali want to be famous.
Our temperature is bad enough. I don’t think that we could survive in your desert. Enjoy the view from the window.
The view for the dogs is always great when it includes critters.
That’s great window TV…just perfect for that HOT weather. Now, is that a real rabbit, or that squirrel spying on you?
I hadn’t thought of that. Since this guy doesn’t try to eat fake grass he must be smarter than the average squirrel.
They are sooo patient! Our three would have broken through the glass to get at the bunny. Smart rabbit, though.
They’d kill themselves. There are FIVE rabbit nests in the back yard.
Oh my!!! That would not do here. They’d be “gifts” dropped on the back step to show their bravery. Nebraska rabbits know to stay outside the fence. Kaci and Kali are sooo cute though.
You can come an enjoy the wonderful wildlife here ~ it forced me inside on a wonderful day. I had a big swarm of honey bees land on my hummingbird feeder.
Sweet William The Scot
Yup, we always knew you were a birds and the bees type.
Yep if the swarm is still here tomorrow we will call the Ohio honeybee keepers. Some come an collect swarms free. Lee does not have her smoker or hat and gloves anymore. Lee took the hummingbird feeder down and dropped it into a bucket of water with the swam on it to get them to go away but they stayed on the side of the house.
I know. Don’t you just hate it? Those flying things are such a bother.
I bet the bunny came because you wagged with your tail to bring more fresh air to him ;o)
It must be a female. I can’t attract a male, even if I shake my tail.
What a cheeky bun, vacationing in the shade! How cool is that? Elsa would have lost her mind watching that fella lounging on the patio. She goes into orbit just seeing squirrels 30 feet up a tree, can’t begin to think what she’d do with a rabbit.
We have so many rabbits that they’ve lost their novelty. The dogs have a special bark for rabbits and it is high pitched.
