Another envelope for today. It said-Kali, clean up your act. OK
Now, if one of those young dogs were in charge of the blog, the story would have ended with the pictures. Kyla was very smart to have me as your intrepid reporter. You thought terriers were stubborn? Now for the complete story. Kali went in the car (the other car, not the Scottie Mobile) to the groomer’s place. On the way there, she escaped from her harness that kept her on the dog car seat and went on the floor behind the driver’s seat and decorated the floor with her breakfast. Her interior decorating style is best described as part of the neo-Paleolithic school with a modern accent.
Well she was very smart as she did not decorate her own car seat, just the peeps.
Bentley
And she was smart because she didn’t do the clean up. That’s why we have staff.
that place was picked very well… there the hot air for the back seats comes out :o) hope Kali is ok and it was just a short confirmation that she really had breakfast…
Yes, it intensified the smell of the half digested food. Kali’s OK-it was her first trip to the groomer but she didn’t know she was going there. It was just a peep and Kali-I think she thought she was being kicked around again and being ripped from her home of one year and put in another life-threatening rescue situation.
Oh poor Kali…. that can be that she was full of fear to lose her family…Our terrier only puked on the way back from the groomer… till my grampy used the bus…there she puked too and the evil driver-guy let them walk home, but my grampy was glad that he hasn’t to remove the mess this time :o)
Not good. Not good at all and the reporter had to clean up that smelly mess. Car rides are not always good.
Have a terrific day all. My best to your mom. 🙂
Car trips to the vet are not appreciated in this household.
We think it was a brilliant plan…. iiiii no sense doing it in her own “nest”… iiiii that is a bird thingy you know… Not to “FOWL” one’s Own Nest…iiiiii baaaaWaaah. iiiiiiii
We are gonna go have a look at the USB Keyboard thingy… beclaws these iiiiiii’s are a rather Poor substitute fur the REAL THINGY…! Cheap Imitation of them if you ask US…! !
BUTT we don’t suppose it will change the fact that the Original i and 1 key is STILL BUSTED iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
The USB keyboard won’t change the original. Just type on it. He has one and is using it now. When He works at different places, He uses the laptop keyboard. At home, He uses the USB to save wear and tear on the laptop’s keyboard. It’s only $11.49 for the USB and if you bust the laptop keyboard, that’s a big bunch more because they gotcha.
I’m working on a need to know basis and I did not need to know that.
Sweet William The Scot
If you have dogs, you have incidents. We birds are perfect.
Perfect like the pigeon that dropped a dookie on me. Ready aim shoot and fire ~ it was more like a Hershey squirt!
SWTS
OK, when we want to, we have good aim.
Poor baby. She’ll need lots of reassurance when she gets home (which I’m sure she’ll get.) Our rescue dog was the same way about going to the groomers. In the end, though, it helped her be more confident when she realized that we picked her up every single time. We made sure we could pick her up as soon as the cut was over, though, so she didn’t worry about that.
I would have thought that Kaci would be the one to do that. Kali may not be as rough and tough as she acts.
Maybe she’s a bit vulnerable right now. Dogs grieve too.
She certainly has been. She was really bonded with Kyla.
Kali, like all great artists, isn’t understood in her time.
You watch, she’ll have a lot of knock-off imitators in a couple of days.
Awww poor Kali, she must have be scared,xx Speedy
I think she was, but she’ll never admit to weakness. That’s a disaster in a shelter.
Well sometimes a demonstration says it better than a bark could have. (or a meow)
Hugs, sammy
Kyla would have been appalled at the waste of food. Noise would be better for her.
Ooophs, bit of car sickies then, or was somebody trying to get out of going to the furstealers?
Loves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
The latter, methinks.
Wasted food, not cool not cool at all.
Aroo to you,
Sully
Kyla would say “Amen, brother, Amen”.
Poor Kali. I hope she’s ok and not having the shakies like Scruffy gets at the vet. Maybe some green beans???
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
Kali loves them also. I really think she thought she was going to get “dumped” again. She was on death row in a kill shelter-found by a rescue group, adopted out, returned because she was too energetic, adopted out to us and she might have thought that she wasn’t returning to here. We don’t return animals here after accepting responsibility for them. Now His mother did that to Him when He was a kid and told Him that His new dog from the pound ran away after 2 weeks. Not kind to dog and kid. His mom was upset that the beagle from the pound licked his “thing” and brought him back. There was no replacement.
How very sad for Him and that poor Beagle. Mr. Fox was a major handful when we got him. The husband described him as not very lovable. The person who gave him to me said she thought for certain we’d give him back. I said I’d have never given him back. He couldn’t help his bad habits. He was a street dog who came with fly bites all over his ears which means he was probably tied up in a yard before he broke free and roamed the street. He needed love. Loads and loads of love. It worked. Just like it worked for Kali. That’s why she was scared. She loves you all so much and is probably still waiting for Kyla to come home. Give her some extra hugs from us.
Alyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
I’ll tell the peeps. It would be dangerous for me to hug her.
Wells, at least she didn’t try and eat it! I tried that this last week when I Ralphed under the table…Ma stopped me…party pooper! I thinks it’s gonna take a while for her to realize that car rides are fun!!! Well….as fun as goin’ to the fur-stealers can be…☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Mom stopped you because your artwork was pretty and should be preserved.
Yay Kali! You show them what you think of the groomers! WTG!
You tell them. I have canines who understand. Damn that bird for tattling on me.
I thought the whole point of having two dogs was so one would gobble up what the other tossed out. Now I have to re-think the entire Tao of Dogs.
Recycling to the Max!
Yep, the PERFECT spot…thats what I have done….porr Mom she has a gag reflex….Barharhar.
Say, Kali is looking mighty fine in her new Fur Cuts
The Mad Scots
Not so-They gave her a picture of Kyla and said to trim her like that. What They got was a dog trimmed like a parrot. Well, maybe I did switch pictures.
Maybe they’ll think twice about taking her to the groomers next time!
Have They got an airplane bag for that one.
Well at least she went and decorated the floor!
And she didn’t charge for it.
Remind me NOT to call her when I want my room redecorated.
She’s got great ideas for you. It’s the execution that has problems.
Oh my dawg. Sorry, but that was funny. Poor thing. Pet her little head for me, will you? Not with your beak, though. Ouch.
I don’t go near her-she’s dangerous to me. She’s much better now after a cooling off period.
G’day Kismet ……. I’m Charlie from downunder in Australia. We haven’t met before but I’ve just seen your comment on Rangers page and thought I’d pop over and say g’day. I knew of Kyla but never really got to meet her either. She was much loved in Blogville. I sure hope we can be friends. I know I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your wonderful family. That Kali sure was considerate to decorate the floor and not the car seat, aye. Wouldn’t want to sit in that sort of decoration!!!!!!!!
